On the Storm today in the NRL; rain is a slight negative for the fav as less pts scored; but the rain should also hurt Souths ability to score since their tries come from 'shift it left from Benji to Alex Johnston' and thats a lot harder to do in the wet and they're decimated by injuries

I think Penrith smash the Sharks tonight by a lot and the Eels while not a lock *should* beat the fairly depleted Roosters although the Roosters still have a lot of weapons, and i'm not certain the Eels are better than I thought they were pre season (they very well could be though; i'm close to admitting I was wrong about their chances to make the top 4; but only due to bulk Roosters injuries this year)

This is actually a pretty big game in determining who makes the top 4 given the Roosters and Eels are the 4/5 seeds. At full strength the Roosters are better, but they're missing a lot of stars with long term injuries now and if there was ever a day for the Eels to beat them it's today at full strength at home

I'm going to the Suns game so should be fun. I've still never seen them win live (granted only been to I think 9 games - I go to all of the Titans home games basically but only the odd Suns game since they've been historically bad until recently). I'm pretty sure i've only seen them even cover the spread once live too, against Essendon a few years back.
