Some rough times during India's innings but they got there in the end, just need the Aussies to win now for this one

Going to be a gross feeling loss here. My cricket year has not been good to date, other sports great, but esp since Covid resumed cricket super poor

Took Hobart Hurricanes most 6s +110 (-0.5 sixes) batting first on sb for today against the Sydney Sixers
Prefer it to either side straight up on the match. I think the Hurricanes win more but they lost the toss and bat first so I think they hit the most 6s and lose more often than they fail to and win, so took Hobart Hurricanes Most 6s as our first BBL bet of the season
There's also a draw no bet option at neds at -160ish prob similar ev idk
Anything above even money is good imo

I am among the other 1000's of suckers that had shortbread in a few multis to score 10+ runs ...great to be out of action 6 balls in

Yeah the vig on those bets is huge
Fine if you're doing same stakes same game multis with the money back one leg down, otherwise to be avoided
Gonna need a miracle to hold from here, need a ton of fours then run a ball etc

Hurricanes Most 6s wins, 5-3. Was looking bad midway through the chase but then the Sixers fell apart.

Back at it tomorrow i'll try and post a spot a day during BBL
Disclaimer my cricket season hasn't been very good this year (i'm in the red overall so far for cricket in 2020 after a fairly poor IPL/CPL) although 1-0 for BBL after today this season and I have won overall in 3 of 5 BBL seasons i've bet and in theory the stuff I post should be +EV although i'm less certain of that than say Rugby League/Union/7s etc

Stars v Heat first ov runs ov 6.5 @ $2.00 ....speculative but seems decent price

You def want more o5.5s than 6.5s, and on better pitches than today's if backing overs. Hobart, Adelaide and Perth are typically the good pitches for batting rest not so much
I stayed out of todays nearly backed Heat 6s/Stars win, but didn't take either in the end

yeah agreed .....i actually took coulter at 17/1 for MOM....took a multi with one leg back which is bonus bet back and whiffed the first over......so without being able to grade at all im somehow off to a miracle lucky bbl start

Nice hit on the 17-1
I have a small flier on Bryant at 54 bucks for most runs this BBL just because I assume he opens 14/14 games a lot and has a lot of potential being a young prospect (not counting for thread due to not posting any bigger than -500 +500 spots due to them skewing the long term records too much)
Not sure if it's quite +EV or not, but it can't be too awful, all it takes is for him to bat through the 20 overs twice or so this BBL and it'd be in play
No bets on today's game was a true garbage match (i'm a Heat fan) I missed the early Stars -149, then considered Heat most 6s and ended up passing everything
Should get some stuff tomorrow plus maybe some late night Union

Rugby one above wins
Renegades -128 (current betfair price) big bash vs Sixers
Renegades openers higher partnership -139
Both Renegades vs Sydney Sixers
Let's go Rens (and Marsh/Finch against Philippe and Edwards, Edwards due to be bad again)

Rens openers won Rens lose
Some props I like today
Bryant o18.5 runs -118
Heazlett u19.5 runs -116 (was u20.5 but moved before I could post it here)
Bryant to hit a six +125
Pretty simple, Bryant is a slogger, and also Bryant is a better T20 batsman than Heazlett who can play shield cricket but loves to fail in BBL

3 wins and 3 losses in the last six. Ironically the 20 mattered for Heazlett as he scored exactly 20

Darcy Short o25.5 runs -119 today

Really tempted to take the Canes but market doesn't love it because they lost the toss. I rate them this year if they lose today I think itll be a good time to buy them to win the whole comp maybe if they get out to 6 bucks plus

Stars seem good tonight at $1.80 on initial form:
"Melbourne Stars have been on a roll already. Played two, won two and also claimed the Bash Boost points in both the games. They also did this by playing on consecutive days. Their key players like Stoinis, Maxwell and Zampa have been in outstanding international form and have just carried that over to BBL. Perth Scorchers, however, started their campaign with a crushing defeat to the other Melbourne franchise. They were rolled over for 130 and it was chased down in less than 17 overs"

Yep took Stars -125 when won toss vs Scorchers today gl us
Worried that Zampa is out, but Pooran in massively boosts their batting and they're chasing on a bowlers wicket so unless Perth set a huge total I really like it
Short bricked yesterday
I also got some Canes +550 to win this season today but not gonna count it for the thread as it's a future/above +500 bet and don't count super long or short ones but I do like it I think they're about tied w Stars for favs to win it all

Zampa is out today btw, but the Stars have gained Pooran which will boost their batting. Dilbar is out too but he sucks so whatever

Rain out works I guess. Without rain I wouldn't have minded them to chase 76 in 6 overs although not opening with Maxwell is a huge mistake. That said, in the rainy conditions I was happy they called it off, no way they can play in that rain and especially no way to chase 76 with it pelting down like that
Void works onto the next
