That was a great game, I got under 94.5 at $2.80 when most bookies had the line at 100.5. Wasn't so lucky with a very similar bet on the blues game.

Not sure offhand, they're different to the online markets now right which is a major inconvenience - I haven't looked into it at all. I do have a TAB venue like 100m from my house though, but haven't ever used it, I might during cricket season or something maybe if they're taking big action @ coin toss time or whatever assuming we don't go full Covid meltdown like lolUSA#1 did in QLD which is possible if morons keep breaching border controls.

I do have a tab runner for Tabtouch in WA for cloned beteasy lines, but don't really use the QLD/NSW tab i've found it's tough to get decent action on there unless it's mainstream soccer or whatever and in general not worth the hassle

Its great that they are different from the online markets, allows another set of different lines to pounce on. And given that they are in pubs and only see money from punters inside the pub, them move much more slowly. Sharp money can no longer sit at home looking at their lines.......... which is a bit of a bummer as I need to drive down, take a look, then not bet 75% of the time.

Tab in venue was really useful throughout the big bash. lots of middling opportunities when they offer first innings totals markets between toss and game start.

For average NRL/AFL the odds they specifically have the best price at any given time make it too much hassle probably

It'll be fine if things stay as they are but every idiot who crosses a state border puts the rest of us at risk, still a decent chance of an outbreak but I hope not

They should be fine to operate out of three hubs - Brisbane/GC, Adelaide and Perth as things stand now. I'd say if you have three teams operating out of Perth, two out of Adelaide and three out of Southeast QLD it should work nicely with one stadium in Adelaide and two each in Perth and Bris/GC - teams can play a few games in their hub, then tour the other two hubs and then return home etc

I'd go with Sixers and Thunder to Perth, Hurricanes to Adelaide, Renegades to Brisbane and Stars to Gold Coast or something like that (or you can bring the Sydney teams to QLD and the Melb teams to Perth, but given Stars have a link with the Gold Coast playing games there each season would make sense)

I guess you could split them too so Sydney and Melbourne expats from each region have a side to cheer for like do Sixers to QLD and Thunder to WA, Stars to SE QLD and Renegades to WA or whatever too

That's assuming it's the status quo anyway, as long as we have at least one Covid-free state to use as a hub the season should be able to go ahead especially if it's QLD or Perth as both regions have two international quality cricket stadiums available

I'm still amazed I got Storm +8.5 for so much earlier in the week and forgot to post it but the +6 for the thread here is still great lines at 4 now. To be honest I think that game is close to a coinflip so super happy with it.
