Does Super League count or is this just an NRL thread

Got a few plays there today too if anyone cares but will stick to Aussie/NZ sport unless theres specific interest in English Super League etc

Topsport.com.au
Sportsbet.com.au
Beteasy.com.au/Tabtouch.com.au/in person WA Tabtouch outlets
Bet365.com.au

Neds.com.au/Ladbrokes (same book) (be careful with Neds/lads, they attack via KYC harassment hard and even track devices bets are placed from)

In general but not as much recently

Unibet.com.au
Tab.com.au

Then there are a ton of smaller books that you can get on at if you bet sub 4 figure amounts, bluebet, betting.club, sportsbetting.com.au, pointsbet, etc

Then there's betfair but I don't use it for NRL really due to the high vig NRL charges betfair

Playup are thieves/will always try to steal with KYC harassment, don't bet there

Then theres one PPH book I have that has aus sport too, but small limits so not really relevant

Thats a basic list of my local outs anyway. Most ban winners, but friends can get on for me and so on. Topsport allows winners. Tab has in person terminals in most states in Australia, Tabtouch does in WA (beteasy lines) - when Beteasy merge into sportsbet shortly gonna be interesting to see what lines WA tab uses from there

https://www.punters.com.au/betting/ list of most of the major local books here there are a few minor ones like bbet or whatever not listed but not very useful

Oh I also don't use Palmerbet as i've heard very bad things re their KYC harassment and attacking winning punters and so on. Put them in the pile with Playup for books not to use (and make sure everything is above board if you're using Neds/Ladbrokes)

If you have any more specific questions feel free to PM me

Swoop, these games are a ton of fun to watch. I never started watching these two sports until this pandemic. I bet some of these guys could kick in the NFL given their accuracy haha.

Some of the top kickers in super rugby are even a lot better than the NRL for accuracy. I do think someone like Adam Reynolds could be a kicker in the NFL too and some of the top playmakers would have been good quarterbacks if they played the sport from a young age

And yeah in the AFL some of the top guys could definitely be wide receivers or tight ends etc with the right training. Charlie Dixon from Port Adelaide could def be a te or something or guys like Tom lynch from Richmond or Tom Hawkins from geelong might go ok there or at wr

James Tedesco or Tom trbojevic could both probably be running backs if they bulked up (NRL players) maybe even nofoaluma theyre insane at breaking tackles or definitely punt returners at least

But yeah in general our sports are fun. If you like NRL give rugby 7s a try when it comes back it's very spectator friendly and USA even have a competitive team their wingers Perry Baker and Carlin Isles are something else with their pace etc

I'm glad I gave it a try, as it's been fun to watch for sure. Been staying up later just to catch of couple of these games over here. Definitely a lot of athleticism on display and to be good at both catching + kicking the ball like the way they are in AFL can't be easy. I read that Aussie rules and NRL were the two most popular sports in Australia along with cricket (which is pretty neat; I had always assumed it was soccer), and I can kinda see why now.

The end of that Wests game was incredibly entertaining, felt like it was the equivalent of converting a hail mary and a half for them to win that. Will definitely try to watch more games, if not the playoffs for sure. One thing I wasn't expecting was for the team who just scored or kicked the ball into the endzone to get the ball back for another possession. Interesting format as I imagine sometimes its possibly to get a 12-16 point streak going when the team is super hot.

I was surprised at how harsh penalties are- giving possession back to the other team / fresh set of 6 downs. I mean I don't know how much of a swing that is, but it seems harsh for something like holding onto the defender a bit too long after a tackle. You think your team is getting the ball back but nope, it just went back to the opponent and now they have a fresh set of downs on the 10 yard line. It feels like the equivalent of giving up a penalty kick in soccer, but it seems to happen quite frequently in a NRL match.

Aussie rules is just one crazy mad hectic scramble. I watched the Essendon comeback a couple weeks back where they had Joe Daniher back for his first game and it was fun to just see this 6 foot 8 cheat code outjump every defender and grab everything that came near him.

Crushing the NRL this week, bricked a couple AFL ones by a goal or so.

Sick comeback in the Wests Tigers game. Almost got a backdoor cover on North after they were down tons but they conceded a late goal. Titans really should have won by more, but they won which is what matters.

Western Bulldogs +6.5 -110 pending

Adding Melbourne Storm -17.5 -111. Should blow up the Cowboys, Cowboys don't travel well this year, are coming off an extra time win and are still missing Taumalolo etc, hopefully Asofa-Solomona is back but i'll have plenty of time to sell this tomorrow if lineup news isn't what I want; it's -18.5 at most books already now
