I don't understand what the "days off" has to do with coming up with the winning picks.

Kind of takes me back to the earlier questions directed towards him regarding emotion/tilt, etc.

I mean, does he rub a magic genie and then he's ready to pick winners again? He's ready to "just feel it"?

Not that I would trust him as a tout in the first place. But a tout who says he needs to take a few days off so he can shake out of his funk and/or get his winning mojo back (or whatever his language was)...and then attributes his quick little hot streak to the days off he took to alleviate his tilt... is even worse than a tout who doesn't do that.

Just looks bad imo. even worse than being a tout in the first place.

The narrative fallacy addresses our limited ability to look at sequences of facts without weaving an explanation into them, or, equivalently, forcing a logical link, an arrow of relationship upon them. Explanations bind facts together. They make them all the more easily remembered; they help them make more sense. Where this propensity can go wrong is when it increases our impression of understanding.

MicroBOB,

how many posts did you erase/remove from exsistence from sb in the last day.

why are you even removing posts at all?

MB you are wrong here in that taking days off will help him win again . There is nothing wrong with taking days off to clear your head and start fresh. Not everyone is emotionally detached like sigs.

BrianL 4-0 in his last 4 baseball plays

I know what he means. When I start losing I have this really bad habit of banging on my keyboard. When I do that, sometimes I accidentally change the formulas in my models from say 2.7 to .27 and then I end up having plays on 100% of the games instead of just my usual 38% or so. Definitely destined to lose more moving forward.

Wanted to post awhile ago that it was awesome being able to bet on myself at the Rio Sportsbook in Day 3 of the $5k Stud/8 with pictures, but rather mention that I'm 13th of 26 going into Day 4 of the $50k. LETSSSS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Greensmoke, I removed a handful of posts from the derivatives thread that dealt with my quetions of hits on websites. I lost track which thread I was in and Iowa pointed out they were a bad hijack and bad for the thread. The deletions involved the two distracting posts I made and the 3 or 4 that responded to it. No biggie. Carry on.

MB,

Don't delete posts its ruins threads and makes me think i smoke too much/ am losing my mind.

seriously that wasn't a bad derail it was like 10 posts, and derails are how this forum gets good threads. Iowa posted that because he enjoys telling you whats up, not because the thread was getting derailed. It was an lol thread anyway.

gl Proben. I remember when i used to be moderately good at pokies. tourneys run good was probably the best time in poker.

GL Pb. This makes me think of Lincoln Hawk laying 7k on himself at 20/1. Hopefully there's no Bull Hurley standing in your way. Or some crazy opponent to put you all in, and proceed to chew and swallow a whole lit cigar in front of you while he makes you ponder a call
