He's sorry for the issues and will offer a refund. But he will continue to do it anyway!

Thanks for the link by the way. Interesting read. And thanks to poogs for the update that he's still doing exactly what he was doing before apparently.

Also interesting how basically one of the more reputable guys out there doing the tout thing (in terms of public perception) can still be shown to be slime-balls even if it's not quite as obvious at first glance.

Does BrianL have any input on this matter?

Yeah, I was thinking about it and do believe it could be something like that.

It also just be a matter of being at the back of the email cue. With the team I'm with, I send out mass email stuff via constantcontact.

Anyway, I have two email addresses that are on the lists. But my email address is also listed as the address the emails are "from." I must be on the back-end of the distribution list. Because every time I send on constantcontact I end up receiving about 15 straight automated, "Joe Shmoe is out of the office until Friday" type of things BEFORE I've even officially received my own copy of it. The different automated responses tend to come in a couple different blocks as well.

So it seems like sending out a mass email to a bunch of people all at once doesn't necessarily mean it goes out instantly to each person.

OR.....the group is just scamming again as they have already admitted to doing before AND said they were apparently fine to continue doing in the future.

okay.

so they post an alert on their site that the update is up and if you have password/subscription you look at it? Or it's going to be up at exactly 12pm every day or something?

Hard for them to not use the angle unless they do not bet at all which what dr.bob claims as it is a conflict of interest.

Dear Brian,
Please refrain from posting on 2+2 for the foreseeable future. MicroBob is correct that you are ruining your own personal reputation as well as that of our business. You do not handle yourself well in that kind of public setting. In order to remain on our roster of touts, we will need you to stop immediately.

Sincerely,
Sharky

Too bad your feelings got hurt Brian. Maybe next time don't run around calling a bunch of people on here idiots if you can't take what you dish out.

No. Merging the two chatter threads would be a total mess. Not going to do that. I don't see a big problem bumping an old topic when something relevant happens or is added.

I may break down all the Brian discussion and merge all of that into it's own thread though. And then can add it to the sticky and it will rock.

you can look for yourselves.

They released their plays between 11:03 and 11:07 during the week, and on about half of their plays youd see movement on wnba at betonline at like 11:01 and itd always be on the RAS side.

crack is whack

It is simply not true and comparing line history with our release time stamp at BetOnline or any other book can easily prove it.

We watch the screen during every single release to see if any last second changes have to be made to our release line, and while there is always more movement than normal leading up to and during our releases, there is never any remotely consistent movement that is predictive of our plays.

No one outside our immediate group that participates in originating has knowledge of RAS plays before they are released and I will offer a $10,000 reward to anyone who can prove otherwise.

Why would there be more movement than normal leading up to your release?

If you don't get your bets in beforehand, you risk having your number getting taken out by our release.

We release around the same time each day, and send a warning out 3-6 minutes before the start of our release.

Anyone who is active in the same markets as us is likely to be familar with RAS.

Ok so someone related to you guys must be betting at BOL before the release I guess. Its either that or its a pretty shocking coincidence that betonline would move their WNBA lines to your guys side minutes before your release.

Its not a huge deal and Im not gonna get into a thremp-war with you, but you cant deny that someone was betting your numbers at betonline before the release.
April - June LC Thread: Good old country hardball Quote

Lines on our releases did not move at BO minutes before each release with anything close to meaningful regularity or consistency. Again, I am watching the screen during every release. It simply did not happen and line history from any line service can easily prove this.

Furthermore, if a line ever became non-widely available in the minutes before release, we would either adjust the release line or scratch the play.

Even if you were able to get down at BO, Bookmaker, Greek, Heritage, 5dimes with RAS picks they would just cut you off for chasing steam if you won consistently.

The service is worthless since Pinnacle changes the lines in a millisecond. Whether that is done via a private RAS release or by Pinnacle themselves then good for whoever.
April - June LC Thread: Good old country hardball Quote
07-31-2012 , 05:11 PM
actually not totally worthless since anybody trading in the CBB market should close pay attention to their card and the lines they liked (sides+totals during nov-dec and totals the rest of the season)
