They'd be down 25 units on MLB... up 33 units in tennis..... up 9 units in soccer.

People don't care how they win money, as long as they do. And tennis is a much larger market then mlb anyway.

I personally like how the pattern has went from:

"i will outhandicap you all day in baseball. I'm up xx units in baseball while Iowa wants to brag about being up xUnits in sport like golf? GMAFB"

To now being stuck having to resort to his Tennis record and units which is a market that has half the limits that golf does at a real book like bookmaker vs Brian's "losers only" Heritage.

No shame in admitting you're not half as good as you thought in a major sport and having to win at tennis. Drop the ego in the future though. Good luck rest of the way

7/17 what a horrible loss for the Mets winning 3-2 giving up tying run in the bottom of the 9th
7/16 what a horrible loss for the Angels leading 5-2 in the top of the 5th
7/13 what a horrible loss for the Pirates leading 6-5 after 5 innings

Half the limits at a real book like bookmaker?

Huh? You can get 30k down on tennis pinnacle and I can still get 2k down at heritage on most matches, combined with other American sites like bookmarks..Ive gotten down as much as 5k on tennis.

And yes I've been absolutely horrible at mlb...I'm the first one to admit it and I've kind of forgotten what made me successful in the past.

yes 30k 2k at a time

i can get down a billion on MLB at pinnacle 30k at a time unless its blue circled then maybe 50 or 100

tennis is only big on betfair

Where are u only getting 2k limits for pinnacle?

I have 4k limits for the smaller tourneys and 5 figure limits for masters and grand slams..

Tennis is much bigger outside us then mlb... not even close.

Last time I tried to bet Tennis at heritage the limit was $100

Well check again.... they raised the limits across the board- $2000 for tennis and $10000 for mlb.

And yeah...I didn't even log in and thr max was $4000 for the Hamburg atp. So try again....

Brian - It's hard to pack so much fail into so few posts.

I mean, when I fail at least it's over the course of a lot of posts the vast majority of which are awesome. But you really pack a lot of punch in your fail.

LOL at "running bad" in the games you referenced. Wow. It's like you are trying to be the most incredible example of how you're not supposed to approach any of this.

Should be added to the sticky? Whoa. That's an awesome idea. I'll get around to that a bit later.

So anyway....what about your followers who only stayed with you through baseball and didn't give a crap about tennis?

Because, you know, you were saying you're a super-solid baseball handicapper guy who really knew his stuff. Was it their fault for believing you? (well, I think it probably was because a quick glance around here would show how smart you were/were not)

I do love the creative math though. "It doesn't matter that I suck at baseball. Because I'm still winning at tennis!!"

Ummm, maybe stop SELLING PICKS on the sport you suck at?

Stay hot on tennis though. Hope you don't start "running bad" there also.

Can you let us know if baseball is due to come around? Are you going to continue making all the picks on that sport because right now you only happen to be running bad?

Thanks in advance. And again, thank you for welcoming my input with such enthusiasm.

What exactly did you "forget?" Or have you forgotten what you forgot?

Have you told your customers who are PAYING FOR YOUR PICKS that you have forgotten how to be a successful bettor at baseball? Or are you just letting them continue to pay for your picks even though you are now admitting that you suck at handicapping the sport?

Or....are you just running bad? And you don't really suck at handicapping the sport even though you just said that you are.

Kind of curious which excuse or direction we're going with here.

Thanks for returning by the way. This is amusing.

My limit is and has been 100 for months.

Brian if you'd like to pick up some extra change, I'd be happy to do a bet with you. Sounds like you're dominating tennis lately. How many plays do you release? Depending on time frame I'll put 1k on some sample, next 50 or 100 plays finishing in the red. We escrow first. Don't post about it once the bet starts, that was sort of annoying last time. PM me if you're interested.

Microbob.... everyone who wants can get a refund.... its the policy at sharkys. Surprisingly, no one has and everyone is thrilled about the $$ I've made them in tennis....weve added more people from promoting the tennis then we did with mlb.

Holiday...ill pm you later today.... I'm up 35 units through about 90 plays and I release 3-4 per day.

Nice of you to offer a refund. Was not aware of that. Of course, that's just for the cost of the picks I assume and not for the amount of money your mlb customers lost following your picks that "ran so bad".... otherwise known as some teams having better bullpens than others and also known as 4-1 lead in the 5th not being a lock because the team that is losing is still allowed to try to score.

Interesting that you will take the action from holiday but refused to in April for mlb because the money involved wasn't worth it to you somehow. Seems really odd to me. But more odd back then I guess.

I trust holiday more then poogs..... I knew who poogs was when he challenged me and some guys at foxwoods told me not to do it. Still not sure if im going to do it, but I'm gonna consider it.

Tampa Bay was -1200 on pinnacle after 3.5 innings last night.... yes its a ****in bad beat that they lost.
April - June LC Thread: Good old country hardball Quote
07-19-2012 , 11:36 AM
What exactly is poogs reputation up there and what were you told about him? I'm interested after seeing what took place with chronic.
April - June LC Thread: Good old country hardball Quote
07-19-2012 , 11:40 AM
Brian, that is not the reason you gave before for not betting with poogs. You could escrow before the bet starts so trust wouldn't need to be a factor. That's what most normal people do anyway. He can't stiff you if he pays ahead of time. And regardless of that, again, you gave completely different reasons before for not doing that bet.

And no, your TB baseball loss was not a bad beat. But even if it was....and who cares... does that make your outstanding and awesome MLB total -25 units instead of -26 or something? Lol at tilting over one game where a team takes the lead and then...like...later on is not leading.

I was not gonna call him at the time especially since I had no proof.

The regs at foxwoods who knew him didn't like him and straight up told me they wouldn't trust him...there was not one person I talked to who said a positive thing about him... no proof that he screwed anyone over but most people acted like they wouldn't put it past him.....not someone i wanna have 1000 tied up with.
April - June LC Thread: Good old country hardball Quote
07-19-2012 , 11:58 AM
Wouldn't betting via an escrow instead of giving your money directly to him have solved this problem? I don't understand why his rep comes into play about money being tied up with him if you don't tie up the money with him.

If holiday had offered the baseball bet in April would you have taken it?
April - June LC Thread: Good old country hardball Quote

How do I know I can trust the escrow? How do i know they aren't secretly planning to screw me? I literally don't know one person on here face to face

Tbh.. id be just as comfortable doing things the old fashioned wsy and not dealing with a middle man.

And yes....most likely.... I just didn't trust anything having to do with poogs.
