I'm up 35 units in tennis.. and overall, with the 9 units I won with the euro championships in soccer...I'm up 20 units.

I thought you quit posting?

I love how micro bob has any input in this...have you ever posted a pick before?

Like I said....the 35 units ive won in tennis kind of speaks for itself.

negative sales IMO i know 17 ppl who wanted to follow you but not after Iowa! exposed
April - June LC Thread: Good old country hardball Quote

Negative sales? No.... we've made money off of it and are people up clients every week.

Iowa didn't expose me and I'm pretty sure not many people from 2p2 were going to follow anyway.

just wondering if anyone has done a test like this before:

1) calculate your model lines for a bunch of games
2) find the no-vig pinny/5d closers for those games
3) bet the side of the closer that your model dictates has edge for each game
4) sum up total profits/losses

Is this a legitimate way of determining whether your model is profitable? thanks in advance!

I don't see how that's the least bit relevant but the answer to your question is Yes.

And thank you for your interest and encouragement regarding my input. I'm glad you love it and I look forward to elaborating more in the future if something occurs to me.

I was definitely holding back on my thoughts regarding you because I thought they bothered you somehow and you seemed really touchy and sensitive. But sense you apparently love it so much I'm thrilled to have been welcomed to participate even more and be more open and honest than I have in the past.

i felt a bit sorry for brian laverty this afternoon when sigs posted that he was in the negative. i thought, brian must be feeling so awful about himself, having realised that he is not actually a winning handicapper. he must feel so dumb for believing that he could actually win, and he must feel so humiliated for having the entire debacle documented on the internet. he probably feels really guilty for charging all those people money for bull**** picks. i thought, even though brian laverty was such a prick about the whole thing, i still wish this would have ended a bit better for him. i thought, if brian just comes clean and admits that he was wrong and that he was overly confident, and that he should have never charged for his picks, and if he apologises, i will actually have some sympathy for him and not belittle him.

and yet, remarkably, he maintains his arrogant ass façade. i'm dumbfounded by it to be quite honest. genuinely not sure if:

brian is actually that stupid that he truly believes he is a long term winner
or
brian is actually that much of a scumbag that he knowingly sells worthless picks

props for staying honest through this downswing. I dont know any touts that post a losing record on thier site. Hats off to sharky and co for keeping it honest .
Sigs when will be your first day?
I think nascar is a dry market for touts, maybe do some MMA picks. Sharky loves that stuff anyways and would probably welcome you aboard.

If the people who bought my picks bet every play that I sent out.... they would be up 20 units.... so really, wtf see you talking about holidayinthesun? Mlb has sucked for me...tennis has been amazing, as was soccer.

But if you really look at it... I've beat the closing line in 9 out of my 11 bets I've made since the AS Break.... and 3 of the losses in the last 3 days were:

- Tampa up 4-0 in 5th and blow it.
- Baltimore up 4-1 in 5th and blow it.
- Milwaukee up 2-0 with 2 outs in 9th and blow it.

Is that not running bad? I know you are an idiot, and don't have a clue about what we speak of, but yes, it is running bad.
