i think the whole 'out of touch with each other b/c of 2p2' thing is what this is about. but like i said, brian and i stayed in daily communication on twitter and i got every play as he posted them on sharky's site.

so again, this was legit. i spent too much time making sure it was a fair bet. i'm just wondering where p00gs has been...

Emails at the end of the bet...you are referring to them getting in touch AFTER 2+2 came back up, right?

Because if they could email each other during the 2+2 outage then there is no reason to not have poogs escrow I think. I don't even know who ended up being chosen to do their escrow which evidently did not happen all the way through. All I know is that I changed my mind on serving as their escrow and decided I wanted no part.

hey guys, I think I'm going to make a thread with all the details as I do not want to clog up this thread.... I may as well call him out
basically we never escrowed. I DID send my portion of the escrow but poogs never did . he kept on delaying it...
He finally did say he was going to escrow

Re: zzzzzzzz
I just added the money to my paypal acct, it says it will be in there 3-5 days.
"

I have no idea when 2p2 went down , maybe April 26th? but even than he should have been able to escrow... I had bugged him about escrowing about 3-4 times and didnt think it was necessary to bug him again about it on April 24th or so..

I never got in contact with him when 2p2 was down , but after 2p2 came back I pm'ed him several times , then tried the email through 2p2 feature and he responded saying the bet should be off since twoplustwo was down..

With what money is poogs buying dodge rams if he leaves 2p2 forever over 1k? Real ****ty of him to welch. Then again I kind of like the thought of chronic getting stiffed for being such a dumbass

lol , sure we don't like each other but I still won't advocate it if someone scammed another. I guess it shows your true colors

chronic - It was dumb to start the bet before the money had actually been escrowed. Obviously you didn't know that the forums were going to be down for so long and you also received messages from poogs that the money was on its way, etc.

But you simply should have said, "bet will begin when both sides have shipped to the escrow." Easy. Way too tempting to freeroll or scam otherwise. Better and more helpful posters than poogs have scammed before.

However, in your defense, I too would not have thought that poogs would do something like this. Hope he comes through in the end.

But indeed, trusting somebody on the internet who you don't even know to pay up AFTER they lose is pretty much begging to be scammed.

I have to give Bob credit. He is crafty. When niss was guilty of over-zealous moderating, it was Poogs who lead the revolt that resulted in his ouster. Now Poogs is gone and Bob can return to the over-zealous moderating style that the SB forum resists.

that was a pretty hilarious thread...

i'm still only like halfway re-reading it, but when perf said:

in regards to when niss was put on as mod, who did the swaying? and why?

Wiper buy a quality Pale Ale or at least a decent Hefeweizen instead of that Summer Shandy stuff. You deserve it.

A RickJ well would be good. I'd still like to see gmcarroll do one.

Speaking of, what happened to puma boy today? I didn't watch a minute of the tournament, but noticed he had an atrocious round. Injury?

jesus christ, i was working on my garage all day and my brother called me b/c he wanted tiger v the puma round 4 today...took it not knowing anything about anything at +115 because we give each other action.

he texted me back saying, 'well through 6 holes tiger's up 7 shots haha'. LOL

then i just talked to him and he said tiger's round was 1/70 today, and the puma was 70/70.

ha!
