i don't even know what tukk is i don't care about that. i'm just talking about all the great advice you impart on people here such as just divide the difference in half to get no-vig line because all cents are equal, etc. there should be some sort of disclaimer that you don't know what you're talking about when people enter the forum since people might listen to your completely wrong things and believe them because of your position

If there is an overwhelming interest in legitimately seeing you have your own thread then I would probably go ahead and allow it. But rsig's opinion of "hey, let everyone have their own thread!" is pretty much my line of thinking here...in that it is kind of silly to allow such things. And I'm pretty sure a fair number of forum regs feel the same.

Also, in your last post with the 5 reasons you failed to mention the bit about wanting to solicit a high-stakes backer and also needing the discipline.

In short, your reasons are all over the freaking place. Just post in the soccer thread like a normal person already. Sorry if you think that is beneath you or is just too cumbersome or doesn't give you the discipline or won't be as attractive to a backer or whatever.

Tom's work itt so far today has been extremely undervalued. I've lol'd multiple times...

soccer thread is dead now considering all meaningful leagues are on break. just poast there. and when seasons are going theres really only like 4 or 5 regular posters in the soccer thread so its really not hard to follow your own picks

1. ban gunner134, he just spams his picks and says literally nothing else.

2. ban the 400 people that come in each week and say "HEY IS THER VALOO IN SPAIN VS GUAM @ 1.01 I THINK YES"

subz - he has done zero to warrant his own thread. he has also admitted that he wants to attract a high stakes backer. It's not about detracting from other threads. It's about not wanting to encourage others to think, "hey, I can attract a high-stakes backer with my own thread. Step 1 - Run Hot. Step 2 - Convince some idiot that I'm a genius who has all the answers and get him to give me money."

Additionally, there is nothing stopping him from posting in the soccer-picks thread, or starting a blog, or twitter, or whatever. I'm curious what he has in mind that is so fantastic too. He seems pretty confident. The soccer-picks thread is there for him.


donkson - seems pretty extreme, doesn't it? People can post their picks, right? I'm not at all opposed to additional threads for soccer. Perhaps a more "serious" soccer discussion thread...either general or something specific. But banning noobs who say they like some team or asking "hey, is there value in this line?" does not seem appropriate.
