wiper could you escrow?

you're def getting at least 50 bucks from the winner though from helping with being the judge etc.

sbrodds has the sides and over/unders, but unless i'm missing something doesn't have 5 inning lines.

also, i appreciate the trust, but i'd rather not escrow if i didn't have to.

and if you two are leaving it up to me, i would say that the odds brian should get are the ones current when he posts in his thread.

i understand we could use twitter and also that people may be tailing him so when he posts on twitter it may take him a minute or two to post here and in that time the line may have moved, but that's what i remember reading (lines current when he posts in his thread) and that's obviously the easiest way to do it.

The only reason I noticed that specific bet on the u3.5 was because I was literally in the process of betting it myself. I had pinny up on dynamic lines and didnt see any movement in the time leading up to when you posted it.

But whatever it won anyway, and I'm totally fine going with whatever wiper says. But for the future...you dont need to bring your weirdness into these matters, me and chronic and wiper can handle it.
Just trying to make it easier for you guys... its pretty easy to check the accuracy of the picks. No need to be an ******* about it.... Thanks.

Click on the MLB tab... then change from "Full" to "1st 5".

Ok we can go by the thread. If he stops posting on 2p2, we go by twitter, if he stops tweeting plays, he can message you all his plays

That's a bit odd since you already brought this up before and I already explained that.

Asking me multiple times isn't really my cup of tea when I'm the one doing you a favor. Not sure I feel like helping you with this anymore.

hopefully this illustrates what a colossal cluster**** it is to book what should be a simple forum prop bet

Yea I def wish I had kept my mouth shut in hindsight to be honest lol.

But whatever...cant back out now. Lets go regression to the mean!

Seriously, you guys could have figured out the rules and all that nonsense via pm. Lot of chatty-chat for a fairly boring bet.

I bet on alobar's 24 walking think in OOT. Just accepted the bets via pm. No need to spell out all the rules publicly, etc.

Yeah poogs. I guess I can do it. Your regression to the mean comment made me laugh.

The person who comes off the most clueless here is dumbass wiper for 'volunteering' to be part of this trainwreck. I only say volunteering because he accepted the offer to do and for his efforts is being so handsomely rewarded with $50.

You guys all really upped your street cred with your big bad prop bet, don't worry.

B00T, let's be real here. I'm the most clueless one regardless of the situation. Even if I'm not in a thread, I'm still the most clueless one in the thread.

But in this situation I do agree that having to judge all 150 bets and whether the lines are valid is kind of stupid. No bet should require a judge to do pretty much any work unless there is some weird dispute in the end. And to get that uppity tight about it for $1000 is silly.

Lol, wiper volunteered to do it for free anyways... for the same reason he volunteers for the best bet thread
The bet is very simple and straight forward...
wiper is there in case anything arises

yeah i didn't ask for nor want any money.

and really all i'm gonna do is keep track of his daily bets. i'll check the line on pinny and log them. he does a pretty good job of tracking his own total so all i'm doing is making sure there isn't a dispute at the end.

to be fair, either side can win on this bet though. you had yourself a lock.

betting the poor kid in SE whether he can make a minor league roster with his jittery crow's hop and 62 mph heater is another example of not needing to do much haggling over details.

That sounds quite annoying to me. But if you don't mind and/or get some weird enjoyment out of it then rock out

yeah it gives me something to do. i dunno, **** i also hand sort copper pennies from the zincs too most nights. calms me down to fall asleep i guess.

edit: and hell, i probably don't even have to track his bets. just keep an eye on his daily totals in his thread. but if something comes up, i'd rather not have to go back and dig through a month or two worth of baseball bets.

Wiper, yeah I was seriously willing to give him much bigger odds like 100:1 for $1k or something. But I don't want to be on the hook for $100k on the offchance he finds a low level manager who he will split it with AND I.can't prove it. That guy is taking some serious abuse there, deservedly, but is really good natured about it so he does get some amount of respect from me. I thought of that when Brian superduper overreacted to be pretty much nothing. But he's getting past all that now so that's good.

I don't think sure thing means you can't spell it all out in advance. So what that this is closeish to a 50/50 thing? Lots of unnecessary rules talk that could have easily been done via pm. Chatting and sweating the bet publicly for entertainment of all is appreciated of course.
