Soccer prop (bookings total) betting grading question Soccer prop (bookings total) betting grading question

Hi All,
I like soccer prop betting, mostly bookings total, sometimes corners total and some other.
I have an incident with one of the respected sportsbetting sites, previously called Intertops, and now Everywager.
I placed 2 bets on total yellow cards for specific team in the game , one bet over 0.5 and the second bet over 1.
This team got only straight red card in this game.
Did I lose both bets or Did I win both bets?
The rules related to bookings for this Sportsbook below.
Both bets were very small amounts, so financial damage is not a main driver for my question....
Appreciate your input.

8.24.6 Booking MarketsA yellow card counts as one card and a red or yellow-red card as two. The second yellow for one player which leads to a red card is not considered. As a consequence the maximum number of cards for one player is three.
Settlement will be made according to all available evidence of cards shown during the regular 90 minutes play.
Cards shown after the match are not considered.
Cards for non-players (already substituted players, managers, players on bench) are not considered.
Interval markets are settled based on the time the card is shown and not the time the infringement is made.
For clarity, only events which happen between X:00 and Y:59 are included in the interval market e.g. 0-5 minutes is settled if the booking is shown within 0:00-4:59, 0-10 minutes is settled if the booking is shown between 0:00 and 9:59, 0-15 minutes is settled if the booking is shown between 0:00 and 14:59.
Time added on by the referee for stoppages at the end of each half counts for that period.

It ought to be a winner given the wording, but this is why you bet on the points market for this sort of thing as that's unambiguous

I did not mention, but I guess it is obvious both bets were graded as loss with a bit strange explanation, see below
As per rule 8.24 6, a red card does count as two cards, so you are correct there, however, this would only come into play when the bet is on total cards, or when two yellows have been given and then player has gotten their red card, but not for bets on yellow cards only.

So as your wager was for total Yellow cards, if the player had gotten two yellow cards and then a red, this would be three cards, 2 cards for the red card and 1 card for the first yellow card.

So all in all, if you were to have bet on "Total Cards Over (0.5 and 1)" your wager would have been a winner, but as your bet was on yellow cards only and no yellow cards were given in the match; is why it was graded as a loss.

I agree it's a stupid rule, but life is damn unfair. You would probably win. if you simply bet on the sent off of any player in this match, but yellow cards are always counted separately from red ones according to the rules of any betting site. I must say that I don't remember a single football match with red cards, but without any yellow cards.

yeah the way I always understood it is as follows:

If you are betting on bookings (aka total cards) a red counts as two yellows

If betting on yellows, then only yellows count unfortunately
