Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

I am non-US and rarely use 5Dimes. I just requested a $3900 BTC withdrawal a few minutes ago. I'll report back when recieved.

Both pay. GT Bets has better promos, but they are quick to limit.

Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

Has anyone actually received a BTC cashout since after this announcement was made?

If so how long did it take?

Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

Takes days if not a week from request to payment but many people. They clearly don't have enough BTC readily available to do it one fell swoop but seems like everyone is going to get paid.

Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

So if I have money tied up in futures they are only giving me the original bet amount, but when am I getting it. If I request a cashiers check isn't the max I can request for the amount in my balance and not the balance + money tied up in futures?

I wish they would let you transfer your future wagers to a non-US player on 5dimes. I am sure I could sell my wagers for at least $1,000 more than what they are offering me.

Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

Ignore my previous post. I am talking to some support person.

5dimes is making the customer pay the fees on the cashiers checks or ACH even though they are the ones requiring the withdrawal.

Hey, why don't we completely **** over all the Americans on our site by grading all their futures as either losers or pay them out what they bet and then make them pay fees to get the money off our site... Then let's tell them we are doing it so we can get their business later when the US market is legal.

Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

Ridiculously scummy for them to freeroll futures the way they are

And with that Celtics bet too there is a legit chance it grades before 25 Sep too

I stopped using 5d after they lost/sold my credit card info (happened twice; after the first time I got a specific card only for depositing to 5dimes and it happened again so it was definitely 5dimes, has never happened to me at any other book). I assume their database was compromised and they didn't do it deliberately but who knows.

Granted this was a while ago and before anyone smart started using btc to deposit/wd there

Best of luck getting paid anyone with balances there

If I was the US regulator i'd be slamming the door on them in their attempts to get into the US market given both the way they freeroll their customers and the fact they served the US market for years illegally

Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

this is pretty sketchy. no-actioning my pending mlb season bets that have won and leaving others up to be graded later. clearly they are hoping they lose and will count as a loss.

Yeah, took about 6 days with BTC. I didn't hear anything by day 4 so I called support and it was quick after that.

Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

Anyone have thoughts on the AsianConnect betting service? Seriously considering moving some of the $$$ I'm withdrawing from 5Dimes to there so I can access Pinnacle sportsbook odds, which are typically not available to U.S. customers.

You can get Pinnacle odds via Fairlay as well.

Re: 5Dimes Leaving US Market?

What they are doing is criminal. It goes far beyond the NBA examples. They are doing it with everything. All the NHL wagers, all the Presidential wagers, etc.

Example...In March of 2019, I wagered on Joe Biden to win the election at 10-1 odds. I also bet Hillary Clinton. As time went on there was a moment in time I bet Mike Bloomberg. Every single person that has come and gone is graded a loser, and the one person who has remained is a void. So of the 15 democratic candidate choices throughout the 2 years....14 are losers as per their grading system. 1 (Joe Biden) is a void.

When speaking with them, and explaining why this is outrageous, they tell me that I am crazy, and I am not seeing things clearly. They claim that of course, the losers are out of contention, and should be graded a loss..and of course anyone remaining should be a void as they can still win or lose.

When I mention my NBA Miami Heat to win the conference wager...they tell me the same thing. So my Raptors to win the conference is a loss. My raptors to win the title is a loss. My Miami Heat to win the championship...not only will it not be a win (if they win)...but, on the off chance that they lose by the 25th, it'll be graded a loss.

and I can go on and on down the list with my 23 pending wagers.

When I try to explain either 1) the losses cannot be counted as losses if nothing can win, or 2) the remaining pending wagers need to be adjusted for their present day equity (which is a pretty easily formula as 5dimes they themselves is daily readjusting the odds for all of these wagers)...they again speak to me like I am crazy and unreasonable.

I am not quite sure if they are thieves or epic ignorant morons. I am about 85 to 90% leaning towards the former. But I cannot say I am 100%.

I also do not believe their coming into the USA market story. Maybe it's true. But if so, would they really be robbing the US market? Personally, I am going to write a letter, depicting exactly what is transpiring, make 50 copies of it, and will be sending it to all 50 state gaming commissions. I suggest others do the same.

Yes. When you deposit at illegal offshore gambling sites, you should expect scummy behavior. You are doing business with criminals, after all.

They are stealing your money and will not give it back. For all the other US-facing offshore books out there, the question is not if but when they do something similar.

This is correct, and why I'm happy to just get my account money back. If you do business outside the rule of law, don't go running to the law for redress.

$800 limits per market. Huge fees to wd. Pretty indicative of all legal books.

There is no chance they are able to come to the USA. Pinnacle left 16 years ago and they won't be able to get in either, 5dimes has less of a chance.

SBRJohn (also a criminal) told a story once about Tony and how he was involved in every single aspect of 5dimes. The book was him. It was only a matter of time once he died that the book would too.

LOL, and you have the nerve to chastise and scold people for betting offshore.

The interesting thing is they got significantly more risk averse in the past few months. Accounts were being limited after a week of hitting them on stuff that would have taken a month or more in the past and were only up 3-5k.
