CS is not responding now. On SBR posters were talking about long wait times, so I think the lack of response is likely due to them being overwhelmed rather than shutting everything down and running off.

Apparently there is a queue of withdrawals, and total account transfers (including pending bets) to another book are possible.

At first I was very nervous about this, but I think it's going to work out.

Apparently everything pending after the 25th will be no actioned so they're completely scamming on NBA/NHL futures.

It sucks for people with good equity in futures, but aren’t they refunding losers too? Or did they already grade eliminated teams as losers?

Teams get graded as losers as they get eliminated, and I was told this morning that they weren't going to be transferring bets so ......

It seems like they let certain people transfer pending bets over but not others. I wonder why:

The word I got was that they were doing total account transfers last night, but then BAS stopped accepting them early this morning.

I can understand why BAS wouldn't want to do total account transfers because people with -EV futures would just ask 5dimes to cancel them and people with +EV futures would ask for BAS to take them on.

Now it looks like account balances can't be transferred anywhere. The only option is to have futures voided and then cash out the balance. If anyone either has different info or receives a cashout please post here.

If you had NHL/NBA futures there that have already lost, I would go into live chat and demand that $ too. You can't collect on losers if you aren't going to pay out the eventual winners. My lost equity on this is going to amount to a rounding error, but I'm going to continue to hammer home how scummy this is in case they pop back up in a few months with a license.

I bet on the field against a certain player in a darts tournament. The player was eliminated over the weekend, however the next round of the tournament starts after the 25th.

I know these types of wagers won't settle until the tournament concludes, however, given the player was eliminated and considering the unique circumstances surrounding the account closures, this is a wager that should be settled and graded now. I sent an email to support, it would be disgusting if they let all losing wagers stand, while only refunding other wagers. The apparent cancellation of the $350k parlay mentioned above is reprehensible, at a minimum it should be graded as a winning 4-teamer

Jeez, that’s gross, just needed 2-3 weeks longer too. At least there will be a tree fiddy refund.

With regards to to the Reduced Juice Menu...According to my transcript with CS, there are no fees or time restrictions on BTC payouts and I currently have access to the Reduced Juice menu. I noticed a "non-exclusive btc" charge on my final cashout from 5d. Never realized it...I specifically asked abouit it. BAS says they don't charge that fee.

For that amount of money, just move to a different country and update your address on file.

I requested a payout for $10k, BTC, on the 8th. Nothing received yet. No confirmation email. Has anybody else gotten a payout from them after requesting post-announcement?

I requested a $3k BTC payout over 48 hrs ago -- still pending. Chat support said they have 5000+ payouts in the queue and can't give an estimate on when it will clear. They just said they're committed to paying people back by the 30th.

I am going to request a BTC withdrawal. Any advice for someone who has never used BTC? Where should I open up a wallet and is it safe* to leave it there for somewhere between a week and 10 years?

*I realize the price of BTC can fluctuate wildly, but safe I mean it isn't going to get stolen, lost, etc.

The books have 3 options as I see it:

1) Give everyone a reasonable limit and learn how to book and even profit from winners
2) Limit sharps and get gnomed to death (See: 5 Crimes)
3) Offer super low limits from the jump and make no $

Anyone have recommendations on a solid book to use to replace 5Dimes? Not necessarily even looking for a book offering bonuses to sign up (though if any solid books are offering bonuses please pass along) just looking for a reliable book that operations in the U.S. that offers good odds. Other than 5Dimes, right now I have Heritage, Bet105, Bookmaker, Intertops, Bovada, and ******. Have had (and am still having) technical issues with my currently-empty BetOnline account so not willing to consider them.

I'm seeing that YouWager and GT Bets seem to have very good ratings and are currently offering promos?

Am also wondering about the possibility of putting $$$ into Euro sportsbooks like William Hill and Pinnacle? Wondering about that mostly because those appear to be the books where I'd get the best odds on boxing with 5Dimes existing the U.S. market... is there a way to access these books from the U.S.?

They paid out my $3k. Still pretty scummy what they're doing with futures.
