why play inter-state games? seems to me anything can happen... i think things like mission viejo - long beach poly are much more predictable if you know your stuff - which you seem to.

nothing to do with your bets but i see De La Salle lost last weekend although not northern california nor even cali opponent i think.

thanks, tbh the extent of my knowledge is doing a bit of research reading local papers on the interwebz, and looking at previous results on like maxpreps and sites like that

Chaminade has sent alot of players to big NCAA programs in the last few years. never heard of them before that.

SoCal football seems to alternate between a bunch of OC and nearby programs... bosco, centennial, mater dei, servite, long beach poly etc... but when one of those teams is in their dominant run - bosco with rosen and sean mcgrew - they seem to win really really big.

Didn't the QB at Miami Kaaya go to Chaminade?

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, Bishop Amat, Loyola, lots of good Catholic school football programs in southern California

Some of the public schools out in the valley/ventura county used to be pretty strong too

Yes. Also Maryland's QB a few years ago. We were at 6-6 type team when I was there (graduated in '01). We hired back a very accomplished coach that was pushed out while I was there a few years later, started recruiting and now we're a contender every year. Tuition has more than doubled as a result, but that's the cost of having a great football team

yup, kaaya went to chaminade....

haven't heard much from teams near encino/reseda/sherman oaks in recent years....... notre dame, crespi are 2 that come to mind but not sure how consistently good crespi was.
