Why would anyone be interested in betting that Trump will be kicked out of office in the next couple of months. What office are we talking about? His office in Mar-a-lago?

I have a bit on insight on this. Yang has the right people behind him to navigate NYC politics, but I share the questions about how popular Yang is outside the internet. For that reason, I'm staying away from affirmative bets up or down on Yang.

But Scott Springer will not win. That much I feel certain about. So I'm maxing No on him.

Dems are currently trying to kick him out of the presidency. If you are in the presidential betting thread you probably should have heard by now about how they are trying to impeach him out of the office.

I assume at his age Biden is maybe 1-2% to die per year in his current health of old age, (which will obv go up once he's in his 80s or if he develops a serious health condition etc) and maybe let's say 0.5-1% chance of assassinations coups etc any given year then slim to negligible chance of whatever other shenanigans

Yeah, that isn't getting kicked out of office. That is getting convicted in the Senate. Or maybe you are advancing the technical argument that conviction is improper if the person has already left office.

In any case, I actually agree with you that Trump will not be convicted. No one ever went broke betting against Senate Republicans doing the right thing.

Why so much certainty? I'm not a fan, but I think Stringer is one of the frontrunners, such as if voters decide to go with a somewhat traditional safe politician or as a RCV beneficiary.

Springer has had a lifetime to excite people and he has never done it. And he is very much perceived as a Manhattan guy, which is the wrong vibe for this primary.

You could be right - a lot has changed recently in NYC politics. I'm mainly looking at his political experience, which looks superior to anyone else running. I'll note that every Democratic nominee since Koch was previously either public advocate, borough president, or city comptroller.

I guess there is a first time for everything.

I don't get it like what is even the point for him to consider convicting trump pissing off some of his base only to backflip if he had no intention of following through

Biden made a mistake in his speech recently, but it actually was correct, he knowingly or unknowingly made a comment which taps right all the way in to some thing so lovely wanted, you really have to take a step back and appreciate it.

Biden said in his recent speech about "Plaines trains and... Buses". not automobiles, which is the correct term.

The moment he said that I snap thought about the cybertruck and how a cyber bus would pan over so many cool things,

Would love to ride share in a cyberbus, would be amazing big concept idea for society to digest, at least a supposed step in the right direction surely, automobiles tell a story and our bus the same.

If someone says they will consider convicting him and few days later decides not to convict it is probably safe to say they were one of the few that looked at the evidence.

Are they going to try to kick all the politicians out of power that are accused of encouraging political violence or are they only doing this for trump?
