I apologize if this was covered elsewhere, but I don't frequent this sub-page.

Interested in anyone's thoughts on this situation. I made a bunch of bets at the 1st Illinois casino to open a book back in early March, right before shutdown. Most were on NCAAs. Casinos re-opened here July 1. So I went back last week to get my money back on the cancelled events. Another bet I made back in March was the Cubs to MISS the playoffs, at like +182 or something. Now there are 3 additional teams making the playoffs per league. My bet was declared live, with a simple answer being the season is still happening (for now) and the Cubs, in fact, could still miss the playoffs.

I think it's BS. The parameters have changed. I should have gotten my money back. Agree?

Thanks Duck Me! Been a weird season so far..extremely swingy. Barely any consistency it's either a bath or a sweep on any given day. I had a 6 gamer to start the day myself but lost on the Rockies..didn't make it in time to post them all - went 9-1 overall instead of 7-0. Either way a good day but my parlay got ripped to shreds early on.

Last second pitching changes yesterday.*****y had the Dodgers play live yesterday. Keeps the unbeaten streak at 12 in a row. Hopefully I don't go 0-12 now. Taking a chance on Manea and Buehler..both have looked awful but I saw some good signs from Walker last outing. Let's see how it pans out.

Yankees -1/2 F5 at -125 looks good with Cole on the mound

NYY bats are hurting and the Rays are a quality team, but Tyler Glasnow is set to oppose Cole today. Glasnow was dynamic to start 2019, got hurt, Rays forced him back in September essentially for a playoff push. Since his return (including postseason), he hasn't made it through five innings yet across nine starts.

Plus, this is a rematch from 8/8 where the Yanks pushed Glasnow out in the 3rd with 4 runs, an inning after they loaded the bases and scored nothing. The two homers by the Yanks that inning were by Gio and Ford, two of the few Yanks who are not currently injured.
