Over the years my largest edge has been beating the line by taking it early early morning - as I post here I am JUST beating cutoffs and I am posting not lines that I have taken but lines that are on pinnacle the moment I post. Easily losing most of my edge there..

Wish I had everything updated and going..not to mention the spreadsheet is a little off. Might just have to manually input all posted plays and start a brand new spreadsheet just for the posted plays. It's not too late...but there's always next year

I am getting absolutely hammered on -200s and higher this year. I generally don't take them as much as I have this year but I'm around 50/50 on them...so basically losing 85% of them lol. My friend who has been betting my picks for years is livid...and so am I because I have missed so many parlays on -200s or higher.

I just think I'm running bad. Ha. Not really sure what to do..I guess I am just going to let it play out for the whole season. Haven't ever taken one that I didn't feel was worth the price..I laid off the Yankees today at -236 and they lost but it came down to a miracle diving catch by Grichuk to save 2 runs and then a double steal + bloop single w 2 outs by Grichuk to win it for the Jays. Do I think the Yankees were priced fairly today? Yes I actually do. Not to mention Clayton "I'm a groundball pitcher" Richards got hurt after 2 innings and it turned into a BP game.

Essentially if I am taking a -200 or higher I am fairly certain I am only losing that bet due to flukey circumstances. The issue is..baseball in its entirety can be one giant fluke.

I used to always say "no team should ever be -300 on any given day in the regular season" because baseball can be extremely weird. I think the game has changed though with the true outcomes and all. I think it's less flukier than ever because the ball is not in play as much and that's why I have taken so many big favorites. Again I think I am just running bad on them. Looks like I've answered my own question.

I know homeruns/strikeouts/walks are all up but someone needs to look up the % of high inside fastballs above 96MPH that have landed as opposite field bloop hits this year. It is absurd.

Lastly..I never do write-ups for my picks but tomorrow we have another gem handed to us. I'm running super bad on Berrios this year..but I really don't care. I'll take it to the chin all year if I have to with him. His stuff is still lights out and all the advanced stats will calm down. Twins +126 tomorrow vs Justin Bieber. Incredible stuff. Hope the books/public keep overvaluing these garbage Indians.

Very rough week man. I parlay the games Cz I’m degen..but I have a few people who do singles and everyone is crying.

Bad variance though mostly..cinci blowing a 7-0 lead yesterday..I can count a few results that went the opposite way with two outs in the 9th.

All good though it will turn. Was at 1.66% ROI to start the week...that’s probably down to 0 by now. Not too happy with how the season has gone but plenty of time to get a decent score for the year.

Following TomG's lead for 2019 that we are nicer and friendlier and more helpful on this forum, I had a couple of hours to burn during a boring meeting at work, so I decided to help out snipes and build a tracker for him. I extracted every post/bet, performed some cleanup on team names, and, for the wagers without posted odds, obtained the Pinnacle closing lines. It's current as of yesterday, except that I didn't have the lines from Sunday's games.

Hey solring..thank you so much for doing this.

Using pinny closing lines is great because most of my bets are usually closing line prices as I post here right before first pitch for the most part and I take whatever line is on pinny at that time to keep it realistic.

There is discrepancy in the record as you have 374-300 and I have 356-288. I would trust your version much more as I do this very lazily. OTOH if you had a record that was worse I would probably double check so for the sake of it I am going to double check yours and mine and see where I went wrong. I probably missed a day or 2 record wise that's the best explanation or perhaps it's the last minute pitching changes that voided my bets. Funny thing is I post these picks on another forum and my record is different there there by a few games as well. That's what happens when you don't document this stuff carefully - o well lesson learned.

That workbook is a great place for me to keep everything together for this site going forward until the end of the season.
