Hey rainmaker yesterday was 4-5. Got rivered in ATL and Arizona blew the lead as well. Was poised for a 6-3 day until the very end! Thanks though!

haha I didnt even check the finals in those games, i just remember seeing them on the right side. too bad but todays a fresh start.

FWIW I think the Dbacks finally find their rhythm - wont take them on a side but like the FF over 1.5 runs.

I haven’t been able to handicap games at petco for years. I don’t actually know how poorly I do on SD games @ home but from what I can tell I’m always off. There is some extremely weird and ugly ball that gets played in that park.

It's been mentioned that a football player can first start playing pretty late. As late as senior year in high school. It's a sport where raw physical talent is the most important prerequisite.
Baseball in the other hand, as well as some other sports, like soccer, is a sport where it's essential for a kid to start learning the fundamentals as early as possible. Any kid who has someone to take him to the best trainers, the best programs, the best teams, with enough physical talent, will have a huge advantage over the other kids.
And yeah, it doesn't hurt if your grandad is called Yaz.

The crazy part is some of these kids are going to be amazing/already are.

Cody Bellinger who is leading the mlb in ops is the son of former big leaguer Clay.

Tatis Jr has already shown some pop over in SD. Vladdy as we already know is poised to be the next Dominican superstar. Pretty crazy. It’s one thing to be the son of a big leaguer and be in the big show, but these kids are making a mark.

Tom also want your thoughts on Bellinger. How much does he regress? Nobody saw this coming..I don’t think he’s this good..in fact being a Dodger fan I always saw him as a better version of Chri Davis. He was swinging way too much outside the zone last year and has been a complete dud in the playoffs. It’d a small sample but I’m still a little surprised at this torrid start. He looks real good. Still though I’m more convinced with Josh Bell’s numbers than Bellinger’s.

I still think Seager is the real stud on the Dodgers. Not sure what’s happened to his approach the last couple of years because he’s way too aggressive. I’m sure it’s all calculated but he’s swinging way too much and way too hard at the first pitch. It’s gotten him in a lot of trouble. Still think he turns that corner again and becomes a top 5 guy in WAR year in year out.
