Washington State going to start getting people noticing them now. they've played some quality squads and are demolishing them on the state line (and usually scoreboard). I might honestly have them leapfrog a few teams and put them first out in the top 4 right now.

Why is the WA state's line so little? Any ncaaf expert? I would love to hear your opinion. Thanks.

Thinking that Wazzu is better than any team in the top ten is dubious, let alone good enough to be top five. They may make it there in the rankings since they've overachieved thus far and have a favorable schedule until the inevitable reckoning against the Huskies, but I don't for a second think they should be favored over TCU or Ohio State or any of the legit power schools of the top five. Their victory over Boise State was a superlative swindle.

I don't know what you think the line should be this Friday against the Bear show, but 14.5 seems at least reasonable. The atmosphereless, pathetic 30k crowd at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley (tickets are going for five dollars) takes something away from a normal home field advantage, and Cal's skill players on offense are mostly second-stringers, but I don't think 14.5 is a steal or anything.

not a joke. their defense is built around defending the pass and takeaways. they have a quality QB and a pretty decent d-line, plus an oddball but still good HC. yea they have some holes (o-line protection, punter) but they've gotten some quality wins at home and on the road this year. I'm just saying, people should start taking notice. I like what they put on the field and have had them and will continue to have them much higher in my own power rankings than others do (until they prove otherwise.) I'm not saying they are going to the playoffs or are gonna win a title, but in terms of overall PR, I think they are underrated relative to quality level and that's why betting them this year has been a winning proposition. just one man's opinion though
