I can't fathom living in the winters the 3 of you live in, but then again I think anything below 40 degrees is pure misery. Vice versa, I'm sure you think a summer in Atlanta is unfathomable too.

It's almost 50 today. I've seen people out in short sleeves to celebrate

Never been to Hotlanta, but MT2R is correct, I walked out onto my terrace this afternoon with t-shirt on, it was lovely.

Set your goals high, and gradually the mediocrity of the world becomes apparent. Mediocrity is a relative term, so get yourself together, work hard stay focused.

Also mediocrity has a geographical component. Look towards the south and midwest for abundant concentrations of mediocrity. Stay away from nice areas such as South of 5th in Miami Beach, Upper East side in Manhanttan, and some of the coastal regions of California..Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Malibu, Carmel and most large portions of SF. Good luck in your pursuit, hopefully this roadmap will afford you the neccessary start to "figuring out how mediocre the rest of the world is."

I'm actually living in a shack on the beach in Mexico right now. Being able to afford to live in the first world again is the goal within the goal.

lol yeah a lot of cringe in some of those old posts. It's a two edged sword though. Especially when it comes to something like gambling for a living, it takes a degree of IDGAF to be out there taking the Packers when everyone else thinks the Cowboys at home is obviously the right play.
