I understand the flaw of having goals. Its really about continually lowering the bar of expectation until anything more than a sub-human existence suffices. Like now... I'm happy just for the room to be warm where I don't have to wear pants or shiver. Soon I'll burn all the wood and I'll be happy to be able to wear a hoodie and not freeze to death. Eventually I'll be homeless, but I won't be sick. Then I'll be ill, but not dead... As you can see the continual juxtapostions of sequentially worse scenarios coupled with abundant reframing and a positive mindset allows you unlimited hope. Which is the only real thing I need till I die.

I was thinking of several ways to do this last night, not specifically for this reason, but along the same lines.

On a week with lots of wongs that are -7.5, just go ARRRRRR IN. Then find some good numbers on the Underdog ML. Feel free to do parlays, different sizings depending on what time the games are at as long as they are good positions that balance each other out. The JAX leg always ****s you in teasers, guaranteed to lose or win by 1.

I should try that next season, get my whole bankroll arr in on tazers and hedges where I can lose a devastating amount by the game landing on 1.............that sounds reasonable.

oh btw, bump for NYE

Peeig: keeping with my 'one of everything' NYE tradition, i do in fact have a colt 45 tall boy in my fridge right now.

i'll let you know when i drink it.

with a proper base, anything is possible.

2011 goals: do NOT under any circumstances run anything close to reverting to the mean on bodog teasers (that'd be really really bad), sign up for twitter (rickj ldo), and start to slog my way around tomg's betting log and/or learn excel better in general.

be safe everyone.

Another year of the same miserable people posting goals.

Gambling leads to a life of isolation and sadness wrapped in the illusion of happiness through temporary highs. Are these really goals?

Good bump.

Do you find it an odd coincidence that you went from being a (somewhat) likable fellow to being an intolerable jerk?

Think about it.

Internet poogs isn't the same as real life poogs.

I'm not full time sb either.

I kind of stagnated in 2011. Met goals in some respects and fell further behind in others.

Sadly, I spend more time than ever interacting with people via the internet rather than face-to-face. There are good reasons for that, but still

I've had to drop many other things in order to disconnect from the electronic connection and get back to real world stuff

So we agree and my point stands.

Internet poogs has evolved into a nasty and despicable character. Real life poogs is less so because he remains part time sb.

FWIW, Thremp who you strangely seem to idolize has deep-seated psychological problems. I am quite certain that even he would not deny it.
