If you aren't banking, then its very very easy to realize how your -EV and bankroll growth is negative each session. There really is nothing more to it than that.

Be a cool book to have like 200 pages blank and one sentence in the middle.

Dude, it is impossible to win long-term at a -EV game.
If pai-gow has a 1.5% house advantage:

If you played 8 hours a day(flat-betting) every day for 10 years and were up money at the end, that would be like a 5 sigma event (lol rough mathament esimates).

Suffice to say, it's not possible. I also find it hard to believe you were an "expert" blackjack player and don't understand house advantage.

I totally understand.

If you play forever, yes you will lose.

Im not talking about playing forever therefore it can be beaten,

And did you people even know that in paigow you can eliminate the house advantage by banking every other time?

Nope, I know you are all ignorant and like to try to sound smart. My advice would be to know more about what you are talking about. Ive played paigow for humdreds of hours. good odds game, you can win by banking against other players and the house, in which case you are actually turning the house edge into your favor.

Are you so dumb and narrow minded that you think it is impossible to overcome a -.5% advantage in a given session?

NO, BECAUSE YOU ARE A NARROW MINDED SCHMUK JUST LIKE KYLE AND MOST OF THE OTHERS ON THIS SITE

B00T, you just don't get it. One time I won a scratch off ticket for $50. I have spent less than $20 on instant lottery tickets in my life. I overcame the 19% edge. Suck it.

Because you are not only playing against the house, but all the other players, and the advantage of a copy win when you are banking more than offsets the 5% commission.

If you and the dealer bank every other time, there is no possible way you could be at a disadvantage.

goodnight to the idiots who i beat on this thread, thremp, kyle whoever who thinks a game that has a slight house favor in the odds means that EVERYONE HAS TO AND WILL ABSOLUTELY LOSE AT IT.

Get out of my face with that nonsense.

NOW DO YOU GET IT??????????????

didnt think so. go play checkers.

Dude, every single casino game can be beaten in the very short term. But you will lose in the long run with every single one of them.

Exceptions: VP with good paytable + comps + perfect strategy
BJ with favorable rules and card counting

You can bank every other hand only if you are playing one on one against the dealer. If these other players who are fueling your profit are sitting down they don't let you bank every other hand. If they do, they're wrong, and the game is just as +EV as playing with a faulty roulette wheel, or a BJ dealer that exposes his hole card, or any other oversight on the casino's part.

Nope. River Rock Casino in Bayarea CA I can bank every other hand with a full table and have done so on countless occasions.

For the most part, this is an accurate assessment, however there are certainly exceptions that need to be acknowledged.
