Well.. he should fold KK, Im not sure what worse hands he can call with though.

Nice.

Villian calls w/ JJ, folds KK often. Obviously, this line is much better w/ KK.

how does villain call with jj, but fold kk? i don't understand.

i think villain has kk or AcAx here. as played though i think i 1/2 pot turn instead to see where you are at and if raised its a fold. if he calls, check fold riv

also i forgot to say that this hand was played horribly from start to finish. you will never know where you at if you just keep hammering the board like that.

oh i forgot the goal of poker is to know where you are "at". give me a [censored] break.

you obviously don't want help if you are replying to that post instead of the post where i gave you my 2cents. if you can't take criticizm then you shouldn't be playing. you will never learn.

i learn quite a bit when solid players analyze the range of my opponents and my range and come up with real reasons for my play. Anyone who tells me to halfpot the turn to find out where im at is a waste of time. oh and HU for rolls.

dfw your advice in this thread was pretty awful

If that river bet could talk he'd say "oh god im so scared of his calls and now this ace comes, I have no idea what my opp has, please please please fold"
lol

any idea how light he's calling your 3bet

edit: never mind, misread his pfr stat

I like it. I think his range is pretty much qq-jj. I don't think he is calling with jacks though.
10-09-2007 , 04:32 AM
I don't have a range for you carnival, but I think you get called by a better hand more often then JJ calls you here IMO.
10-09-2007 , 04:58 AM
i don't know how you guys think it is jj. what does villain put him on? 88? seriously. jj raises that flop and folds turn like 100% of the time. especially against a guy like that.

and to deaders. all you say is he should fold kk. that is not even advice.

Well his range is so much wider than only JJ and you dont beat anything from his range except for JJ. Plus 99% of the time he's not calling your river push on a flush board + ace on the river because he beats exactly NOTHING, not even TT or 99.

how can anyone give you a range when all you give is stats. you give no other info about the player. you will never get your range either.
10-09-2007 , 05:04 AM
yeah this is quite terrible.
10-09-2007 , 05:09 AM
check the turn
10-09-2007 , 05:30 AM
nah i dont like it, too thin.
10-09-2007 , 05:40 AM
Most of the advice in this tread is awful! the flush draw hits the turn and you bet hard into him he flat calls, how you can fire the whole stack on river i dnt no which makes me think this is more abwt your image and the history u have with villian duno!? yes he could have JJ or KK with any club but its to hard for worse to call inless he has reads, I think the real point here is what villain FLAT calls the turn with? this river is closer to c/f than a shove.
10-09-2007 , 06:26 AM
I don't like it. The only value is in him having exactly JJ which he could very well fold here. Other hands in his range are not folding: AK clubs, AA, TT, 99. I don't think many people will fold KK here at those odds.
