3bet pre. As played, I like check/calling turn because I think check/raising only gets called by better. Donking blank rivers for 3/4 pot seems sexy because I think he'll check behind most of the time with AX and he'll be more likely to put u on a busted draw if you donk. I would probably check/call a smallish bet on draw-completing rivers and check/fold to a large bet.

Also, I wouldn't donk the turn because you're preventing him from semi-bluffing draws and any A that will call your bet will probably bet themselves. When you bet and get raised, the only hand that you beat is A9.

such a great spot to squeeze pre. please please please squeeze.

I prob donk flop if i was forced to call pre. donk turn and river as well.

If we c/c the flop, i like a c/r on the turn. But hay, you got the money in, which is what ya wanted, right?

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I seem to have a problem re-raising out of the blinds with AK, especially vs. an ep raiser. I find it difficult to play AK OOP. I'll squeeze next time!

Yes definitely squeeze. Donking the flop depends on %cbet stat, if it's below 70% I would donk.

why dont u sqz pre? no one gives u credit when you sqz, so u get so much value from worse hands calling or playing back. plus it makes the hand easier to play (initiative + better SPR)

Squeeze preflop like everyone mentioned. Asplayed I would check call the glop lead turn but fold to his raise giving him credit for a set which he obviously had in this hand
