I think a c/r is pretty bad, since, again, his range is pretty much bluffs, and yours includes a ton of possible straights, so it is hard to see him call without a straight.

Concur.

My intuition was to check. Granted, when he bets the sizing will often be smaller than if we bet, but that's not a legitimate reason to bet.

C-call, and I don't think it's that close. I wouldn't call a bet here with Qx in villain's shoes against a TAG reg
