maybe I'm self-conscious?
have also had them tell me they don't know why they like me so much

I really liked her for a while, like 2 years ago, but she had a boyfriend at the time and we haven't really talked since recently.
I was genuinely suspicious of her. Not that she's after my money or anything, like I have any, but that she's coming off a huge break and wants emotion stability, or something.
But she genuinely looks happy to see me. Like a cat that greets you when you get home.
It's sort of making me feel uncomfortable.

Sounds like you are projecting some on her kil.

some suspicions and feelings. If you don't have any reason to think what you think, why do you think it?
10-30-2009 , 02:38 AM
Kil, your self-esteem and her perception of you are not matching up and it's making you uncomfortable. You probably feel pressure to be who she thinks you are. Go both ways - accept that you're probably more attractive than you thought you were, but also make sure she understands you're just human and have your faults. If you try too hard to live up to her perception you'll burn out eventually and resent her for it.

yeah, good advice.

I've been trying to ground her by telling her my faults, but she just responds with things like "well everyone has faults" and "well, it just means you're human"

I just feel like she's going to be disappointed in me in the long-run. I don't know, I've never understood why any of my girlfriends liked me, honestly.
It's a self-esteem problem I suppose.

If you're going to do makeup for halloween, make sure you rock the white basecoat.

Also - remember - visors ARE cool.

10-30-2009 , 03:30 PM
Also - my halloween outfit criteria:

1) Be as comfortable as possible
2) Try to look like something that 'slutty teacher', 'slutty schoolgirl', 'slutty vampire' would WANT to hook up with
3) Buy as little as possible, and what you do buy - be able to rock in normal circumstances if possible.

For several years I would rock a Velour Adidas Track Suit and be K-Fed, A Lazy Gangster, etc.

This year - while I can't seem to find the letterman jacket, I just cut the hair and intend to buy a Big Gulp cup.

Custom letterman jackets made online. Though you obv wouldn't get it by tonight/tommorrow.

snipe call a trophy or embroidery store. if they cant help you there has to be a sports store nearby with generic models. i can think of two stores where you could easily get them but it would be like an hour drive for you. look around they are out there.
