Not really. It's totally standard for the PG to hold the ball like that and let the clock run down at the end of a quarter before trying to score with as little time left on the clock as possible. What are they gonna do, run up to him and make him stop tying his shoe and guard the ball? I guess they can expend the energy if they want to, but it's not like they're actually gonna be able to steal it given the distance between the defender and the ball handler.

Similar things happen all the time; the PG takes the inbounds, dribbles up the court, and then lets the ball dribble on its own a couple times as he takes a moment to wipe his shoes or whatever. You can run up and try to take the ball, but he's obv gonna see you coming and stop doing what he's doing and probably go by you.

blah blah...plz dont tell me you think UT is a world beater this year. if you do then lets put some $ on the NC game

i finished 'the hunger games'

overall it was a fun book. this book is indeed a young adult fiction though, and i felt like the writing (after just getting done with blind sight) was very....simple? (can't quite think of the word).

i feel like this book could be very interesting if they took the 'young adult' aspect out, leaving way for more gore/more intricate plot. with that said, i DID still enjoy this book...it reminded me alot of enders game, a book that i enjoy alot. these coming of age books are pretty fun in general, and when you add in some of the sci-fi + killer/danger stuff, it makes way for fun. the world/society that the author chooses is pretty interesting as well, and you definitely want to learn more about this world and what happened.

i think overall its a pretty down year for cfb...UF didn't look near the world beater it was last year, but no team really did all year long. i think that bama/fl/UT have all shown to be ****ty at one point or another this year...with that said, want to bet on the NC game?

Not really. I think the game is going to be close. I don't think Texas will move the ball well, and I doubt Alabama will either. I think the line (4.5) is fairly accurate. Texas struggled mightily on offense this year against the two good defenses they played - Oklahoma and Nebraska. Alabama's defense is as good as those teams.
