Weezer emo? Ouch. They're pop, they've always been pop, and they will always be pop.

Death cab for cutie was the only emo band I ever semi-liked. Now I don't really listen to any emo music.

I can't do any pulling b/c bicep tear. Only way I got my chest done was to lift dumbells up with my right arm on both sides. =( In reality, I probably shouldn't be lifting at all, but I get really bored and antsy. I mean - I want to do shoulders - but I think there's too much bi involved getting the weight up. I hate going to the gym (I lift in my garage), and don't want to hold heavy weight for lunges with a fully extended arm (stressing the bicep tendon). So I do abs / core / chest / tri / cardio / and plyo. I know I SHOULD hit the gym and do squats - and maybe I will - but plyo kicks my ass enough as it is - and my ****ing knees hurt.

Also - anyone who wants to get on IM and help me get the 'virtual scrolling' on my Lenovo T500 working again (Win 7 64bit, purchased a few months ago) - I'll love you forever. The **** just stopped ****ing working and I can't for the ****ing life of me figure out why. I DL newest drivers, but no love. I JUST WANT MY VIRTUAL ****ING SCROLLING!!!!

I went running yesterday for the first time ever
after 4minutes I was out of breath and stretched a bit
after 15min max I already quit
this inspired me to do more so from now on I'm gonna go running every 2 days at least because I don't want to be like this

nice, gl. If you have any running questions just post itt or pm me, I ran track and cross country competitively for 5 years so I can help w/ workout routines if you need it.

Speaking of running, I have to work out 12 days in the next 2 weeks to not lose my prop bet, and I'm guessing at least 75% of those workouts will be running. I have to run 3-4 miles each time, and the most ive done in a week this year is less than 20 miles, so gl me.
12-01-2009 , 11:04 AM
Heh. Sounds like you'll win your prop bet pretty easily if ran track/cross country for that long. Besides, 3 miles a day 6 days a week is still less than 20 miles.

what qualifies as a work out?
12-01-2009 , 11:19 AM
yeah, i climb probably 4-5 times a week for sure. though, once i have a bit more time, i'm going to start running alot more.

these...

Yeah, the volume shouldn't be the big issue...it's mostly just a matter of motivating myself to actually go out into the cold every night and actually go running, hence the prop bet. Every day I want to be a lazy/fatass though, I have to ask myself "do I really want to lose 500 over this? being lazy is massively -EV, gotta run."

Basically it has to improve fitness and cause a sufficient quantity of pain. It's self defined, but we're both pretty intense about our workouts. I'm doing distance running with lifting/shadow boxing(havent found a boxing gym here yet, fml)/yoga workouts mixed in, and my friend is training for a boxing match in 2 weeks, so I think both of our workouts will be tough enough.
