there's a subtle but important difference between guys who are strong players, and guys who do what bert does. i can't think of a good way to characterize what he does in contrast without being inflammatory.

in my opinion, he turns what could be a friendly but intense competition into a joke by just forcing everyone to flip w/ him constantly. no other regular does this (one other comes somewhat close), most likely because they prefer to compete rather than flip.

i can see how others might view what he does differently. but that's my take.

nah went on a tilt spree today open shoved every hand for awhile on one table. then 12 tabled and won back 15 buyins, only 5k below ev for the month holla.

dropped like 5 bis in about 2 hrs yesteday which was kind of a shock after posting winning days consecutively for the couple weeks. so going against all instinct I possess, I make the very tough and painful decision to move down limits instead of up to get even. spend most of yesteday and some of today getting them back at 100nl. feels good to handle a slide w/out tilting/spewing off an extra 10-15 buyins and tons of bad play into like a 3 week hate stretch which is what happened last time.
