just had a pretty fun HU match, this guy bought in for 70bbs, and after about 5 hands i hit top 2 vs his top pair in 3bet pot (standard cooler) for stacks, anyway he sits out for about 10 seconds and i want him to stay, so i type "ty" in the chat (1st time ive ever done this lol) and he insta sits back in with 100bbs.

these hands happen after about 1/2hour of play....

i.e. pot is 200, they bet 230

was this in a video or something?
04-27-2008 , 02:36 PM
haven't noticed it in a video and I watch a lot of them.

Playing some donkaments...what are some quick key adjustments from cash? Are reads/hud that important? shovel a lot when you get under 11bbs?
04-27-2008 , 03:33 PM
sure sounds about right. just dont shove 1010 over the guy who hasnt played a hand in two hours when he 3 bets. I do this.

And wtf at not being able to reload my stack after i post the blinds. theres no add chips option. so lame.
04-27-2008 , 03:34 PM
All those things are good.
Reads are a tad more instinctual in some spots as some dudes just spaz out early on and give stacks away w/ horrible bluffs
I never fold TP on most brds basically
oh and nvr try to get someone off a made hand
04-27-2008 , 03:47 PM
Thanks for the tips guys. Sounds like basically treat unknown player in a donkament as a donk, makes sense.
04-27-2008 , 03:53 PM
I only lost 1.5 buyins today. ship it! my best session this week!
04-27-2008 , 03:55 PM
ratamahatta,
yes, i raise all of my hands to the same size. i may be opening a bit wider on the button (which watching the video again i didn't even do as often as i could have - i think talking distracted me a bit), but i don't betray my holdings by raising to distinguishing amounts.

Alright thanks. I used to open to 3bb from every position and I kind of liked it. What about CO, do you also open to 3bb from there? (Havn't watched the whole vid yet)
04-27-2008 , 05:09 PM
nah, 3x+1 btn, 4x+1 elsewhere. on ftp i use the pot button for everywhere but the button and if you click the slider when on the button there's actually a spot that will nail out 3x+1, which is awesome.

04-27-2008 , 06:53 PM
Is this spewy?

Unknown opens the BU, fish calls in the sb, i squeeze in the bb with AQ, BU call.

Flop: 2-3-4, i check, planning to crai.
