You posted no reads, no table dynamics, you didnt post your image and anything, so the only thing I can say is: you have a set, you have 112bbs, you should go allin.

played fine - i would expect to lose to a set a lot here, he obv. slowplayed something (he must be pretty donkish to try to slowplay on such a board)

he is running at 28/12

i am running at 20/17 and playing fairly agressive. My image is probably they think im f.o.s

If they think you're fos why didn't you bet the flop?
03-17-2008 , 01:22 PM
because he has 55 probably

Like you have an option besides shoving.

None of those matter tbh. This is a simple b3b on the turn.

Well if villain is 40/35/5, I shove with a triple fistpump, if villian is 12/5/0.5, I shove and cry a little, if villain is 5/1/0.01 I punch myself in the sack while shoving. That makes a difference imo!

seems like there are a fair number of draws that we lose a lot of value from this way? Do you not think villain ever does this with FD or combo draws?
03-17-2008 , 01:42 PM
CiB is pretty horrible here. With these reads you played it fine.
03-17-2008 , 01:44 PM
FWIW what is the villain calling a shove with that we beat besides 97 and possible AQ? Anyone for calling and letting villain bluff the river.

Given that villain may think your FOS this is fine.

Weird ****ing line from the SB. I hope you're good here, but your line is 100% standard.
03-17-2008 , 01:55 PM
if villains a donk i get it in. If villain is decent than his line is so FOS that i'd probably just call the turn.

I know bet/3bAI is the spr std line here, but KCrow basically stated the first thought that popped into my head when I read this HH. No one else for this?
