after UTG raises on flop, a 3bet here would be good, UTG range includes JJ+ here, raise for pure value, if SB is really that bad, he's calling a raise as well. Hero and UTG are deep enough in this game where value shouldn't be missed

On this connected board. Our range is a lot of PP + SC here. What do you think villain will put us on if we 3b flop and what will he be paying off with?

I am prob flatting flop and ch/raising the turn if I think he will bet. As played i prob just ship river after his bet, your hand is really underrepped.

I would have raised SB's flop lead, as played i just call down.

What hands do you put him on that will call a riv shove except 33?

The answer to these 2 question depends on how he perceives your play. If you aren't able to get paid off in these spots then you probably aren't bluffing enough.

On the river you only have $30.32 behind after his bet, giving him about 3:1 on your shove. He should be calling off here with the majority of the range he's repped so far.

But if you're expecting him to only ever pay you off with a smaller set, why even play small pairs?

Because SB is a fish. Why do you assume a reg is going to pay you 3buyins with much worse than a set when he has opened from UTG and it's a multi-way pot.

Like I said, that depends on how he perceives your play. It seems you're not raising the flop or turn because it screams set/str8 and gives him an easy fold. That makes this a great spot to mix in a fair amount of bluffs. But if you never bluff here, and he's good enough to pick up that you never bluff here, then you are right. He's not going to pay you 3 buyins.
