The only thing I really want to mention about this hand is how bad his c/r is here. By c/ring here he is declaring that he is polarized, which basicaly makes my life super easy, I can just go with my good hands and fold everything else. There is no point for him to c/r here, anything for value that I'm going with will barrel off and anything bluffing is basically shutdown by his c/r. Also he doesn't protect the times he has 99-KK and decided to slowdown preflop. Awful c/r with just about any hand.
what does ryan mean when he says "also he doesn't protect the times he has 99-KK and decided to slowdown preflop".
he doesn't protect because he has opted to c/r?
and is there enough FE for UTG to c/r flop vs unknown CO 3bettor?

I have literally no history with this player what so ever. I just want to point out that:
1) I think when he flats like this he has AQ 99-QQ the majority of the time. When we get to the flop like this I think the way I can most likely get his stack is if I check and try to convince him I'm giving up. Also my range for checking is weaker than my range for betting so its a good spot to slowdown with a big hand.
2) When he bets I feel pretty good hes got a medium pair and is stupid (bc betting that pair is beyond awful here) and I can put him in a gay spot by c/ring and probably getting him to commit. I do and he does and ship. Frankly his play with JJ this deep and no history is awful he's dead here almost every time. His play should be flat-call preflop, check back or call flop. Depending on what pair he has poss check or bet turn, at very least get 1 street off on river. Try not to get it AI with jj here plz...
how bad is it to bet/fold jj on flop?

For some reason I think people call shoves wider than they are willing to 5bet, which makes no sense unless they think you are only 4b shoving like small pairs or weak Ax or something. Anyway I've found that for 100BB shoving AK gets the most WTF results vs regs. Though I think maybe if I made it 6 and he made it 22 I might still just make it 48-50ish b/c such a ridic overbet but I think a shove is still ok.
agree?
so if villain is 4b shoving lightly then it is ok to call lighter than to 5bet. if not, 5bet frequency should be higher than calling 4b shoves?
