Villain is Bigblljoy on party and is 72/52/2.5 over ~300 hands. Like usual he has been playing almost any 2 cards in any position and stacking off with any pair. Does this seem super spewy esp it being a limped pot even though villain is a maniac? Thoughts on all streets appreciated.

How about you start by betting the flop?

If he is that spewy, i like to raise JQ for value and stack of on J high flop or get as much of my money in on it. (If its bvb or i have position.)

Also bet the flop agasint this kind of donk all day, he will call with any pair on the board, any draw, and sometimes just 1 overcard.

Imo with the min raise on the flop i dont love the turn, but its not terrible agasint this type of player.

I would either shove the flop or get as much of my money in on the the flop to make my decision on the turn a lot easier.

I played a guy like this last night at 1/2. Knowing that this type of player, plays any 2, stacks of on top pairs and goes all the way with any draw i will put majority of my money in on a top pair good kicker hand or overpair, which is the bread and butter agasint this kind of player.

So if he indeed did float with an ace, which isnt impossible for this kind of donk, i say the mistake was not betting enough on the turn.

As played, too much money in there and villan has ~$80 behind so stick it in and hope he has like j7 or some ****.

i agree 100% that betting the flop against a straight forward drooler is best. However, villain has been making a habit out of firing 4x pot bets when checked to, then folding to a shove, i guess I could have put that in the OP but I wanted to see how badly I would get flamed.

I checked the turn because villain is not completely ******ed, he just likes getting his money in bad to see if he can suck out i think, so he knows that when an A hits the turn it's a scare card, and will try and rep it with complete air. I already decided I was going with the hand no matter what so why not try and get some extra value from a float that will fold to a turn shove cause my line looks super strong even to a ******.
