o but given he min raised? whats the plan, ive been getting min raised quite a bit recently on K hi boards? is this common bluff spot, I mean i dont see why raise value in his shoes?

How you want to check call flop when you have position? Check flop, call most turns, reevaluate river. As played i dont know, when you decide to bet that hand you have to have a plan what you do vs raises. I dont bet here but if i would i would fold to raise.

Anyway whats your reasoning behind betting?

Fyi you posted this hand history in your AQ 3bet thread and this is my response from there:

Since you have position preflop I don't mind a slightly smaller 3bet sizing.

Flop seems like a odd call to me. You should have quite a few kings and all AA in your range to defend here before QQ. The flop is so dry I find it hard for MP to bluff with much here and if he does it would be turning a hand with showdown value into a bluff.

Not sure why you feel your hand is a good 3barrel bluff candidate? Could you elaborate? Is it bc you block KQ?

Also what Kimes said about check back.

o no the aq hand was different, it was K hi and I had aq that i thought was good 3barrel, but this i didnt consider 3barrelling

your bet sizing is a bit inducing and somewhat blocking, and if u are cbetting this i assume u are cbetting a ton and will have a tough time defending unless u are very good and dialed in on your opponent.

u should be checking lots of kings here. as u arent getting 3 streets from anything less than ak without history.

all this to say checking qq is well protected if you choose to do so, and yes the river sucks but better to keep that decision to a small pot than blow yourself out of the water like this.

Makes more sense now just saying the hand history you posted in that thread is this hand history.

Yeah I check flop, and balance by checking AK+KQ here sometimes. I probably check AK a decent amount on boards like this.

how do you bluff if u check kq and ak sometimes. You must be cbetting ur air way more than value right?
    07-20-2014 , 05:10 AM
any reads or history with villain?
    07-20-2014 , 11:31 AM
by betting you turn QQ into a bluff. No need for this
