RTR customer support has said that as a load was played last night it may not be fully updated therefore will report back once the figures even out a bit and the RB figures are updated
They also said that the new system will not be implemented by them until 12th Feb anyhows, so will wait and see!

This is from RakeTheRake about coral keeping the old WC rake under the new system:
"Existing Players: Your percentages will stay the same at 50% and still based on your old rake"

And on Betfair keeping the old rake system:
"Existing Players: You will stay on VIP 13 in the Betfair System – Whereas before this was worth 50% of your gross rake, it will now be 35%"

Hello,

Apologies if this is a bit off topic but this may be of interest to individuals reading this thread.

There is a job vacancy within the Poker team at one of the world’s largest online gaming companies, it will be an administrative position but a great entry to a career in Poker or online gaming in general.

The successful candidate will need to be analytical, logical, collaborative, hard working and ambitious. Knowledge of Poker is an advantage but not 100% necessary, knowledge of Excel and data analysis will be especially advantageous.

The position is based in Gibraltar (At the bottom of Spain) so would require a relocation in most situations. From my experience, Gibraltar/Spain are both fantastic places to live if you are a nightlife person or if you are big into outdoor rec, not to mention the weather is excellent pretty much all year round.

If you are interested, please send your CV and covering letter on why you want the position to Gibraltar.jobs@bet365.com. There is some more general information at this link.

Of course, if there are any questions, they can go to the above address also, alternatively PM me. The closing date for applications is 16th Jan.

Many thanks
Ben

hi there... does anyone know any good rakeback deals since the new system came into effect or is it just same deals but getting effectively half of what they got previously if you're winning?
02-14-2015 , 07:11 PM
Anyone know what is happening with t1 and t2 segregation?
I made an account on BetMost (t1).
Sometimes I see all the tables including t2, but like now I only see t1 tables. There's one 100nl table going at t1

Someone is affiliate rakebacknation ?
I created an account on winner with 70 % rb and only get 36% never did cashout.
This SBR reduction is normal?
02-19-2015 , 04:14 AM
I think sbr is not per account but per person, to stop people from jumping around / "abusing" the system m
02-19-2015 , 10:43 AM
source ?

I don't think SBR is calculated other than for the sn's of every skin.
So skin jumping works
02-19-2015 , 03:50 PM
I'll ask again, also if I can reveal the source. But if it's really just per sn per skin, people wouldn't even need to skin jump, just find a skin that allows them to make a new account every now and then - incentive to do it would be so high for both parties that it'd be bound to happen.
02-19-2015 , 06:36 PM
Ok , is that I sent an hm print by email and only sent me a " we are investigating " and on the affiliate's site itself appears the same amount of rake generated hm , and then only paid me 36% then it is not the fault information delay .
This deal is very popular and open, is offered by two major affiliates and for sure a lot of people is affiliated .
What struck me is that they are using the excuse of RPV to pay only the minimum , even showing the correct numbers .

The skin allowing to create new accounts for it's customers would be kicked out pretty soon if playtech hears about that cos it's against the rules. But skin jump is not against the rules.

This is what pokervip advises to their customers:

⁃ Many of our players have accounts where their returns will increase. Our agents are contacting all these players individually, to ensure they play on the accounts that are most profitable to them.
⁃ All other active players are advised to make a new account on the network.
⁃ PokerVIP will monitor player performance and individually advise players when to continue playing or in some cases increase their volume at a poker room and when to move to a new skin.

Well it is hard to work out my RB exactly with weekly payments but it seems unbelievably bad since the switch to SBR. I am on a 70% deal more or less on a new account. I am considering leaving ipoker how has the change affected you guys?
02-21-2015 , 04:45 PM
For me iPoker is just another bumhunting site. I don't mind the change as much. I never played under VIP system.
Overall I believe the recent changes iPoker made can be good in the long run.
RB advertising is now allowed, so no more shady deals. SBR is also working towards ending the tier segregation.
With this change the companies should make more profit, which means that they can advertise poker more.
