I'm never folding that QQ in that spot

@Saymond super!

ok so live hand time:

$1/$2 at a game i haven't ever played at

Hero's image is aggressive but not too splashy. I've stacked a guy for 100bbs with a set, but other than that I haven't shown up in any pots with a bluff. I've c/f a few times, and shown down a few top pairs for winners in small/medium pots.

Cut off: I know the guy's nick name is "all in vinny". He started out in the game with ~$90 but has ran his stack up to ~$280 at the start of this hand. He has instantly over bet shipped twice thus far to a single c bet and has shown up with a set both times. I have seen him call down a few times with top pair. And I've also seen him flat JJ preflop in a spot where he should def be 3bing vs a 40 bb stack. I have not seen him shove other than the two times he has sets.

Button: I've stacked him for 100 bb's thus far. He got stacked again shortly after I stacked him. He has been calling a lot pre and folding but has recently won a few pots to get his stack up to ~110bbs.

Hero: $650
CO: $280ish
BTN: $220ish

Button straddles for $5
Hero is in SB with QQ Hero raises to $15
Folds to CO (all in vinny) who calls but looks kinda jittery like he doesn't know what to do, but makes an instant reach for his stack so I know he was at least calling.
BTN calls.

Flop: J39

Hero bets $35
CO INSTANTLY ships for ~$250 more
BTN folds
HERO????

yeah im folding, the dude is really good at hitting sets
02-20-2012 , 04:52 AM
me too. doubt you have enough equity to be able to call v his shipping range.
02-20-2012 , 05:06 AM
If he flats TP, Jams sets, and the board is dry, its a pretty easy fold
02-20-2012 , 05:13 AM
yeah with your read it's an instant fold. He must be happy though that his bluffs works for that 50 dollar now and then haha
02-20-2012 , 06:19 AM
pretty standard fold imo. I'm making it $25 pre as well.
02-20-2012 , 06:33 AM
I'd be thinking, can somebody get the nickname "all in vinny" only by overbet shipping sets?
02-20-2012 , 06:55 AM
[ ] 1k hands per hour
[ ] $1k per day
[x] running good

Come on, you've gotta feed the internet-poker player stereotype more. I'm changing my advice to more hoodie and shades.

Hey guys, I have a question, is it possible to log on leggo poker from multiple/diffrent IPs? Or do they ban such a thing?

EDIT: wtf wrong thread

I did give him an apology and told him to go and hire a lawyer if he wants more than $300. He took the $300, spit on me and left. As he was walking out the door, I leaned over the balcony and threw toilet water on him for spitting on me. And yes it actually hit him.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seems real, he posted a picture of his broken laptop that he threw off the balcony. LOL

Love the thread in the forum, "IS WHAT I DID BAD??". I don't even need to click to know the answer is yes.

blahhh, villain are both meh regs so i was hoping the last person to act would make the mistake of betting his set if i checked it to him on the turn so i could ck/raise. Looking back... I should just be donk potting the turn ya?
and obv ck/folding any paired/flush river

yea i like donk betting the turn, u will still get called a ton and can easily c/f paired or flush rivers. dont think durden is gonna bet a set on the turn after getting 2 calls on the flop.
02-21-2012 , 01:51 AM
raise bigger pre, bet flop, bet turn, bet fold river.
02-21-2012 , 03:14 AM
yeah i was kinda wondering about the 2.5x pre from UTG bannar. is that your standard or a misclick?
02-21-2012 , 03:18 AM
betting turn is faaaaaar superior to c/r (or c/c) and its not even remotively close imo

yeah, i agree.. it just sucks because there will be lots of rivers that we will have to ck/fold. So i was hoping the guy last to act would make a big mistake by betting and we could avoid all river spots. He's not that bad though which makes my check suck!
