In my mind he's more likely to bet bet rather than crai turn with a lot of value hands. If people hate this line of bet small/call, what do you prefer?

As played, I would check back the turn.

If he is 3betting 13%, it is probably higher in that spot and you can think about shoving preflop.
04-27-2010 , 02:25 AM
if you check back turn, what do you do if he bets on various rivers?

fml if sexuelity gets better than 12th in tonight's FTOPS, I think I'm gonna kill myself or at least quit poker.

yea i just checked and he wasn't playing anymore so crisis adverted
04-27-2010 , 02:43 AM
PHEW lol

I'm just sad because I gifted my stack to him after he flatted me w/ J3s. tilting but I'm mostly tilted at myself.
04-27-2010 , 02:49 AM
when a reg flats a 4b OOP 100bb deep... what does that mean?
and generally i don't do min 4bets. so its like 50bb in the pot min on flop usually.
04-27-2010 , 02:51 AM
Usually means they have some bull**** hand. I see a lot of AQ type things. Very rarely pairs. Sometimes Q9 type junk.

Oh, some players only do it with AA. These are usually the slightly better bad players. Rare.
04-27-2010 , 02:56 AM
either they're slowplaying or they have a hand that they aren't comfortable getting aipf w/ but also can't fold. i've seen a lot of AQ/KQ. sometimes i see a random J7s but obv rare.

He could have just about any TXs >= JTs too imo.
There is just no way he's doing this with JJ-AA. And if by chance he does do it with these hands it's nowhere near as frequent as he does it with draws.

this guy is capable of taking some really weird value lines. I think AJ+ is definitely in his range. I don't know enough about him to know if he would take this line as a bluff. folding turn is probably best; if he just barreled I like calling down more.

WHY DONT PEOPLE CLICK THE USE PLAYER NAMES BUTTON WHEN THEY POST THEIR HAND HISTORIES!

I dont want to upset anyone but hand histories without player names are boring as hell.

in the regs thread - use screenames
if it's in the cheese thread - do not use screenames
imo
