Well they're right, the real question is, are they themselves a fish too hah.
The amount of leaks 1-2 and 2-4 regulars have is astounding. And I don't necessarily exclude myself from this list, but i'm working on it.
It's really amazing how much room there is for improvement in poker, how good you can actually get. However that should be intuitive as every small mistake adds up so much.

+1
I have leaks left and right, spew, make really bad calls, bad bluffs etc.
recently a lot of breakeven 5/10 players have moved down to 200 to lose all their rakeback money
padrik is the latest
I said some 5-10 regulars. There are a lot of break even regulars in those games who aren't good. But the big winners in 5-10, play really good, often they play 10-20 also. There aren't too many break even 10-20 regulars out there I don't think. And even to be break even at 10-20 when you play in tough line ups means you're a good player.
ok, this is starting to seem unreal. i went from beating 200 for 5bb, 100 for 6bb and 50 for 10bb to somehow being unable to beat 50. i dont think 25k breakeven at 50 should be possible. its like the regs at that stake actually try to play every single hand as horribly as possible.
River: ($87.50) 5 (3 players)
mrOrloff checks, Hero bets $21 all in, Herr Flocke calls $21, mrOrloff folds
Final Pot: $129.50
Hero shows K K (three of a kind, Kings)
Herr Flocke mucks Q Q
Hero wins $126.50
(Rake: $3.00)
that was against two 'regs'. one breakeven, one earning about 5bb/100. try to guess which is which. how the **** is 25k breakeven possible with this. for that matter how is it possible either of those droolers arent losing at like -50bb/100 to say nothing of somehow actually earning money.
Yeah I don't think until you get to 10-20 regulars and some 5-10 regulars do you find players with very few leaks.
You'll find some of the same players in 2-4 these days though (mainly because the player pool at midstakes isn't huge so 400,600,1k is kind of a single level with 1k being a little special)
Just a quick check guys can I fold this river vs a 21/14?
Didnt 3bet pre as had no previous and bb was squeeze happy(though in hindsight 5 handed i should just 3bet I guess) and now I get one of those flops that you just never seem to be good when you call down 3 barrels...
At the time I thought he could vbet AQ, AK then he bets big and its more polarized but I just end up shrug calling...

It's strange because he could slow down with AQ/AK on this river jack. I would never fold, because at some point in my life I actually lost my fold button, and FTP hasn't sent me a replacement yet.
Feels like a fold especially at 50NL vs a player with these stats especially UTG where he's not going to have as many draws as you'd usually expect (less FDs, only suited T9 and may or may not have the KQ gutter and superunlikely to have the QT gutter)
I also expect these players to slow down with AQ and AK or at the very least bet sub 20$ on the river usually
I feel like it's a fold but I guess we can call the combos without the Ah (or only call if we don't have the Ah or Kh since that frequency feels more correct) and fold the rest and not feel too bad about it
