it may not be, but scrubs is still awesome
03-19-2008 , 03:06 AM
so do you guys think all the 25/10 or 18/8 or whatever regs are 2+2 or did they just sort of patch together a marginally winning game from books/experience? im always curious about those guys because they probably are winners and arent awful but could make some simple adjustments and boost their winrate
03-19-2008 , 03:09 AM
my initial impression is that 2p2 and lp members etc. couldn't possibly be that bad but judging from some threads and pieces of advice im probably wrong
03-19-2008 , 04:27 AM
Just started playing 100nl on FTP. Played with u on one table thac. My sn is iTr4pp3dU. I play US mornings so don't play with too many of the regs mentioned in the thread.

I think a lot of these guys are just survivor bias players - they played randomly, it worked, so they're still around. It's like those people who triple barrel donk into you with weak hands - it's really dumb once you know what they're doing, but the chances are that it takes most people a long, long time to figure that out.

Most people play exploitably (I'm sure I do), but the people who take longer to be exploited last longer in the player pool. I think that's often why you see certain traits in the weak players for a few months sometimes, until the semi-regs work out how to exploit them, then they're gone.

so all of a sudden I can't withdrawll using epassporte... theres a very slight name discrepancy on the accounts, which has been ignored before, but could this be causing the declination this time?

I am afraid to ask their support, since FTP support notorious for locking up accounts or some BS when you mention something like that to them
03-19-2008 , 07:29 AM
LOL I just got schooled HU. Thankfully it was 100NL so the money is irrelevant. I think he took 700 or so off me.
Nice job, ldo I'd quit the guy after the first bunch of hands went to showdown but I kinda need to learn playing HU so I can't do that.

Man, overbet56, is it you?
03-19-2008 , 07:39 AM
I'd rather not out my SN. Top secret.

But I did a lotof stupid stuff, specifically bet sizing and failing to adjust to villains adjustments duringthe middle of the game. And stacking off on the last hand where I should have known waaaay better which lead to quitting.

Heineken23,

stop insulting the fish in the chat you ****in moran. If he thinks he played the hand well and just got sucked out on..well, let him think that. There is absolutely no point in telling him how his flop minraise sucked and whatever. Just STFU, especially when youre not even involved in the hand.

Seen a couple of posts saying he's a decent reg in the deep games. Only played a couple hundred hands with him though, and that was all last night. Strange to see someone playing 35/32/4 with like 60% att. steal plus double figure three bet stats AND eight tabling. Sample size though...

No, he plays like this all the time. I have over 6K hands on him, and have been talking to him a lot at the tables. Seems like a cool kid. He's a CR member, and has a blog on the site.

OB56 used to play 5/10, however, he busted his entire roll or some ****...rebuilding now.

He's damn good that's for sure, we tend to stay away from one another. Also, he ran pretty **** hot yesterday, and got a lot of action. I didn't

OB56 is UTG:

FTPSPTY there's a microstakes forum for stakes lower than NL100 ... hand looks fine
03-19-2008 , 10:21 AM
Rapidacid, I am from NL100-200, just rebuliding BR, so asked more experienced players, rather than in micro-forum.
