Deep fish at table who everyone keeps picking on. I have position on the aggro raiser who keeps targeting him every time he limps especially in a raised pot.

Villain is 35/35/2 with a 37% 3bet and 75% cbet:

Poker Stars $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 32303
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

CO: $181.55
BTN: $251.85
SB: $112.30
BB: $105.05
UTG: $100.00
Hero (MP): $111.00

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is MP with K Q
1 fold, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, BTN calls $4, 1 fold, BB raises to $17, Hero calls $13, 1 fold

Flop: ($38.50) 5 4 T (2 players)
BB bets $27, Hero calls $27

Turn: ($92.50) 6 (2 players)
BB bets $61.05 all in

This looks like a fine enough flop to float him on. But he steals the turn play from me, so does this force me to fold now? Do you think he would ever bluff twice like this OOP? And can I even beat a bluff?!

I like to re-raise these "isolators" preflop... if they call you have control of the hand on the flop...

However this is a little different you donk min raised and then called a huge squeeze reraise with KQ suited? and then floated the flop? I think the right play is to raise $7 with KQ suited and if hes willing to repop you then let go of it preflop...

Huh? Donk min raised? He made a standad preflop raise and I don't see him donking anywhere

if u think he is squeezing light y not 4 bet pre and get it in? 37% 3bet is insane. I usually dump this preflop i'm sure you'll find better spots. Also r u suggesting on calling the turn? I think that's nuts. Also if u really wanna make a move on him just shove the flop, against an aggro villian he will probably be barreling the turn a lot. As played fold turn obv.

wait for better spots to get your chunk.

Flop call is just lighting money on fire.

Agreed. These aren't the types of opponents you want to make creative floats on. They're just stacking off way to light for this.

lol @ calling turn shove flop or gtfo (fold)
02-09-2009 , 05:14 PM
shove flop if u wanna continue

fold flop since you have K high and he is the fish and not you
02-09-2009 , 06:46 PM
for the record, the fish is the BTN with 2.5buyins. I dont have history with him but the table stats were off the chart and he was playing 85/0/.5. Guess he sucked out a few times, regardless I'm at the table for him. Just so happens the SB is there for the same reason and keeps squeezing anyone out who targets the fish. I agree I really should have just 4bet pre if I wanted to play this hand. Flop call is ridiculous and of course how can I showdown king high after all this.

You don't float loose, aggressive players. They will keep firing. You float tight players who are likely to c-bet, but will check the turn and give you the opening you want.
