id probably have bet more on the flop and shoved turn if checked to. these hands are a pain to play tho and do get called by donks a lot with like 99. id like to see others opinions tho.

played fine imo

don't bet this flop unless you're willing to shove the turn and think he'll fold a small overpair he can easily have a flopped set or 99+ thats not folding on this flop

overpairs are a tiny part of this villains range before we bet the flop.

I'm checking here all day since we have position

the board is a board where he can call with a lot of his range and if he does any goofy stuff postflop I really hate c-betting here

there's not enough money in our stacks to be messing around in this pot trying to bet more and shoving the turn

at first I thought this was NL200 b/c I didn't look really close...

I'd def. rather check the flop now that I see this

I don't see much point in cbetting this board against a 56/22. I'd probably cbet if the 8 was a diamond though.

No point in CBetting. If this was against a TAG reg, you can sometimes CBet flop, shove turn.

Agree with "Check the flop, or bet flop and shove turn" options.

1st option is good only because we have position, and can sometimes check this down, or maybe use our bluff-catcher if he only bets 1 street.

2nd because even donks fold 66,99,TT,8x here sometimes, and there are some draws XcYc, T9s. And when they don't, they often enough run into your value range JJ+. "Bet flop 100% and give up all your bluffs on turn" approach is rarely correct (unless you think you can call the river x% of time).

Hard to say which line would be better in this particular case.
