- 5th or so hand at this table
- normally betting flop 80%+, took a weird line
- had to call turn and imo got partially lucky he donkbet river

what would you do on all streets
and

how would you react, and why, to the river (as played)

The river raise is really bad imo. I would have played it the same vs an unknown villian except that I would only call the river.

The only hand that will call your raise on the river is hands that have you beat so the river raise is unnecessary.

bet flop

what are you trying to accomplish on your river raise?
04-08-2011 , 08:57 AM
bet flop
river raise is just totally pointless/stupid
04-08-2011 , 08:59 AM
you couldn't play it any worse if you tried to

Cant really see what you want to accomplish with the river raise.
Just bet flop and as played call river.

If we bet flop, what do we do if villain check turn? b/f or check? and if check what do we do if he bets river?
04-09-2011 , 04:06 AM

So, if he calls or flop bet, we then check turn? and what if he bets blank river, do we call and how big bet to we call?
04-09-2011 , 04:21 AM
bet flop, bet turn, check call river/check fold river depending on villain.
04-09-2011 , 06:28 AM
this hand makes my head hurt.
04-09-2011 , 06:31 AM
wtf are you doing
04-09-2011 , 06:34 AM
I would like to know the reason why we have to bet flop?
I thought we have to check hands with showdown equity because if vilain c/r it is like burning money for us.
Am I wrong?
