My red line Graph! My red line Graph!

11-11-2008 , 11:50 AM
My red line needs life support!

This is only a tiny sample but I lost my PT database when my hard drive failed. Anyway my graph looked much the same as this and my question is this. Are there any players at NL50 (6 max) who have a positive red line and if so, how?

My red line is slighty positive at NL50 over 50k hands with 5,5PTBB.
I always try to take a lot of Pots down and I am a bit of a station. It's no big deal if you are losing money on it since most people are bad stations so you shouldn't bluff them. You probably should try to valuebet thinner.
But the in fact the green Line is what matters

Even if I can't get it into the positive, I must be able to stop the sheer rate of decent. maybe make it a very slow, gradual loss, to increase my overall win rate.

Just jam every river and make tons of hero calls

Don't live in red line/blue line world. The green line is all that matters. You are doing fine. I am currently going through the same thing. I would preach subtly. Don't start going into c/r spaz spew mode just to raise your red line. Pick your spots. Start out with like 1-2 situations per session where you c/r bluff a K high board or something.

DON'T GO CRAZY.

green line doesnt matter, red is what poker is all bout

Don't worry about the ****ing red line.

Worry about making correct decisions and making $$$, the other lines will work themselves out.

this was my epiphany

green line is easy. red line is what really counts and will drastically > your bottom line.

OP what stakes was your graph? losing 1 buyin every 1k hands is something to aim for. Losing a significant amount more than this means your actually weak tight postflop

Yeah I seem to be losing roughly a buy in per 1000 hands. I play NL50. I actually do think I play a tiny bit weak/tight post flop.
