So today I had my birthday party, and for the party we rented out the basement of a club. I had to work about 10 hours from early morning that day, so when I got there I was already pretty exhausted.
I got there early, set up the place with about 5 of my friends, one of them was the girl with the boyfriend which Im after. She was with one of her good friends, who she knew since high school, a 19 year old guy.

Ok, so 30-something people get into the basement, and the DJ gets in, and I start doing shots of vodka with people at the bar. I socialize with a bunch of different people, people wish me happy birthday, and just having a good time.
So the girl Im going after is there, I dont remember what I talk to her about. We talk for a while, we did a couple shots of something, and I grabbed her hand and brought her to the bathroom. I told her I wanted to tell her something, and then I started kissing her ear and neck.
She seemed to be enjoying it, until her friend, the 19 year old guy barges in. He looks furious, he's about twice my size, and his eyes are red. He tells me to leave, I do, and they talk for a good half-hour.
I socialize some more, I see her afterward and she told me that he said he liked her since he first met her, and that he wants to be with her more than anything.

After the party 9 people fit into my friend's small sports car, and they all came to my place. About this time the girl with the boyfriend is getting called constantly by her friend, she ignores it.

We came to my place and we settled down and had some drinks. When a couple people left to get some more beer, I talked to her a little bit more. She told me she liked me from the first time we met and we started kissing.
Long story short, she stayed over and everyone went somewhere else...

Finally saw John Carter. Don't get the hate at all--just some good, unsophisticated fun. Reminds me of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow as movies the public is too dumb (or too smart?) to just enjoy for what they are. Also, RIGGGGGINNNNNSSSSSSS.
