I definitely agree its just a matter of sucking it up, and I will. I'm sure it will work out, every living situation I've been in has run smoothly.

Haha it's simply a matter of how they approached. I'm generally the easiest person to tell off in the world, because I don't really care and I realize that I'm in the wrong sometimes. Nothing I can really put in words but just the attitude annoyed me and made me want to dig in y heels

Like I even told then when I moved in (and later) if there is anything I so that is annoying, or there's housework you want me to do, just tell me, I take criticism well (verbatim). Instead they were bitchy for 2 weeks (but I was neve there so didn't really notice) and then called a flat meeting to discuss the issue. Lol just tell me to vaccuum

Don't worry, I can see their point of view (shouldn't have to tell me) but they approached it like it was some super serious issue that needed discussing. People take life to seriously (says the guy who just ranted for 2 pages on an online forum haha)

on another note how can we give a proper answer without pictures?

Some important life lessons can be learned from this song

fryke, people handle discord really badly

they think that not bringing things up is productive, since they are avoiding conflict. this lets them think they are somehow magnanimous, but instead, they just continue to get angry. that you told them to tell you changes nothing, because they still believed they were being 'bigger' and avoiding bringing up petty issues to a thoughtless offender. just laugh at them and take five minutes to vacuum and then go crush online.

Cheers for all the posts.

Played poker at the Taj a few days ago, games are probably softest they've been in years avg age was 65+. Man that place is depressing tho

It's funny putting faces to all the fish I've played over the years, as I used to play almost exclusively online, and playing just live now.

Every fish is basically a man aged 45-65, who's kids have moved out of home and now has too much money given they are still working and house/kids are paid for. Makes sense really.

Some of these players are so bad. Can't wait till I've got enough of a live roll to move up to 2/4 and eventually 5/5

Happy new year everybody

Happy NY.

Last night the sink clogged up. Now I just tried to unclog it, which didn't work with chemicals. I tried the hard way, but now I seem to have caused a leak in the drain, flooding the kitchen.

Not the best start of 2013.

So... Is Kililan still alive?

Happy new year guys!

Here's to hoping we get our monies back soon!

Anyone following US regulation closely?

What's the current outlook/when is our best chance?
01-02-2013 , 12:36 PM
I'm not following it particularly closely but from what I've absorbed via headline osmosis is that it looks like there's stuff happening in New Jersey, Nevada and Texas. California isn't looking quite as good. If anything happens nationally it'll probably be from merging player pools of state solutions.

Edit: Had a quick skim and apparently North Carolina and Illinois might be getting somewhere too. I should imagine that PS are now lobbying in every single state in an attempt to get it done that way instead, but we only hear about a few of them as word leaks.

Texas is for brick and motor poker and would ban online poker.
01-02-2013 , 03:01 PM
This isn't quite what you're asking but I enjoyed reading this piece: http://m.seekingalpha.com/article/1081061

It covers online stuff later. I think (hope) he's overly pessimistic.

Not sure that 'ban online poker' is accurate, rather isn't it dealing only with B&M poker? Not that it really matters, since with Rick Perry governor even B&M poker has got to be a long shot.

You are correct it's not a ban, but it's not legalized. I was going off the pokerfuse article below. I should know better by now than to trust anything Haley Hintze writes.

We need a better standing out title
01-04-2013 , 06:52 AM
Haha I just got completely range merged owned by an über Agro whale at the casino. He bets 100% basically, I have 68s on k76hh, I call his half pot bet. He half pots again on 8h turn, I just call cause he will bet every river. He Jams 61 on river into 125 on jh, I have no heart but tank call because its either a/qh or air. Turns over jk no hearts.

I asked him if he was bluffing he said no
01-04-2013 , 07:02 AM
I didn't even care that I lost, just that the whole table thought I was a moron. You called without a heart? You suck

I was pretty close to being that token online doichebag who explained polarized ranges to the entire table but I restrained myself

always hilarious when live players tell you how you shouldve played your hand. Esp when theyre all nits.
