5th hand at the table, no reads on any of these guys.

I'm on the button with 250bbs
SB: 200bbs
BB: 120bbs
UTG: 260bbs
MP: 400bbs
CO: 300bbs

UTG opens to 4bb, MP calls, CO calls, I raise to 22bbs, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls.

Flop: 6 4 8 (pot ~90bbs)

UTG checks, MP checks, CO checks, Hero?

Hero wants to know what to do, and what to do if called/raised on the flop if he decides to c-bet.

you have position here which is good, so if called it's really not the biggest deal since you can control the way the hand goes.

I'm going to be betting this around 1/2 pot - though if raised I'd have no problem tossing it. You're rarely getting raised in this spot with 99-QQ and it's going to be a set almost always.

I don't like checking just because the only thing we're afraid of on this board is a set, and other PP's will be calling

yeah b/f sound sgood because we're deep

Does checking and getting to showdown relatively cheap have any merit?

yeah id check here for sure

BF> Check imo. They have so many outs against you when you check back.

Yeah - 55 and 77 don't need to see a free card here. I bet 50bb and fold to a raise. Bad board for battling set miners, that is for sure. Checking can't be bad either. You might get some value out of opponent's 99-QQ that you might not have otherwise.

Huh? What outs? An Ace and whatever 2 outs they have for turned set if they are behind, and if we are behind we are likely crushed.

This is seems like a WA/WB situation.

I like a check here because a lot of cards don't hurt us, and don't help them. If a J or a Q comes on the turn we can get two bets in safely by TPGK type hands that won't call on the flop.

We have a ton of equity if that's a good analysis of what they will be behind with:

Board: 8d 6h 4s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 52.683% 52.44% 00.24% 430 2.00 { KcKd }
Hand 1: 08.415% 08.17% 00.24% 67 2.00 { JhJs }
Hand 2: 11.220% 10.98% 00.24% 90 2.00 { AhQs }
Hand 3: 27.683% 27.44% 00.24% 225 2.00 { 5d5h }

There are so many awful turn cards that I think I like b/f now. There are also 3 other people in the pot, so I like a bet to slightly thin the amount of people. If called by anyone then I check back turn, and maybe river too depending on their image. But any 5,7,9,10,A would all be cards I'd want to avoid, and then a lot of dual draws picked up on the turn could prob semibluff c/r or put me in difficult spots w/ 2 barrels. Betting like half pot into 4 people on this board turns your hand fairly faceup, but I think this is better than still having a faceup hand on a worse turn.

Also, if I check flop, I prob check to river then maybe bet then.

even if we check one street, they can get us AI by the river reasonably easily
