Hero gives up or do we fire another barrel?

Villain is playing 16/14 so far, hasnt been out of line. I play 22/18 and haven't been caught bluffing.

I give up that turn. He probebly got a king since he called ur rerais. If an 8 would have falled the turn I would make a bigbet

He must have a hand like KQ/KJ here after calling your C/R on flop. He's probably not folding to your expected turn bet after this flop. I give up here.

If he turned his hand face up and showed KQ/KJ I'd fire another barrel for sure.

I don't really like the c / r on that flop. What are you trying to rep what you can rep much more cheaper?

Repping a set obv.

Horrible turn card to 2nd barrel, at least do it on something that could've helped your hand (some broadway card to get him to think you made 2 pair against his Kx, 8, 7 or A to represent a straight or some funky 2 pair). Played like this you are repping basically only 44/55... he is a TAG who prolly has a HUD, which means he knows you don't have 2 pair except for maybe 45s, and is probably putting you on str8 draws, sets, air and KQ/KJ. Even though a str8 draw is unlikely and playing KQ/KJ like this would be kinda ******ed on a board this dry. So it comes down to if he believes you hit your set or not...

And I think it is a little bit too obvious here on that board.

fold pf

flop c/r is kinda bad just because you are repping too tight a range and he's somewhat unlikely to fold KQ+ if he's any good.

that being said i think he peels the flop with hands like 88-QQ aswell as a K

Fletch,

he might be 16/14, but he is raising almost certainly around 20% of his holdings in the CO, while he is probably c-betting almost his entire range on this flop HU IP. I haven't tangled with him at all yet. Don't you think he just doesn't have a hand (A9s, QT for example) most of the time?

Could you also elaborate on the fold PF statement? I'm not only playing the hand for setvalue?

Oli,

could you elaborate on this? "What are you trying to rep what you can rep much more cheaper?"

worst spot ever to 2 barrel. nit that called a cr on a super dry board in pos. burn your cards.

I don't fold preflop. I don't check/raise the flop vs good thinking opponents, most aren't so I don't mind it here. I give it up now though. I think you're waaay overestimating your fe vs KQ/KJ.

you have 22/18, maybe noone seen you bluff but they may start thinking you can't have that many good hands and after he called your c/r i thunk he's not folding and wants to catch you bluffing, or even since he has pos he can be much better than KQ/KJ
