easy bet/fold. no reason to slow down unless villain is telling you that you're beat.

C/C turn. Thus u protect against floats and get to see a river that can improve your hand. Very few people can bet the turn and then bet the river as a bluff. Id 100% rather check/fold than bet/fold. I mean bet folding is ridiculous DUCY?

Can you explain more fully why bet folding is bad here? My instinct would be that betting turn gets value from draws (of which are there many) whilst allowing us to get away to a raise.

Wouldn't you feel horrible checking the turn, villain checks behind before hitting his nut flush on the river?

I bet/fold like 47-48 here. T9/99/89 hands are likely to call. I don't hate a check/call but I'd prefer checking if there weren't 2 flush draws I think.

not sure about this one, at first i like a bet here, but it does make the river difficult if we're called. if we bet $50, we have an effective stack of $123, with ~$160 in the pot. Trouble is his range is pretty wide with all the draws, and he may hit his overcard heart. What do we do against these cards?

Ok Grog, so pretty drunk on last nights response. So il tidy it up now. On that board only 3 hands improved on the turn J9 of which you have 2 Js so is unlikely, then 87 and 77 of which villain may call a reasonable % of the time. So his value range is pretty narrow.

The board is so draw heavy that he can shove alot of semi-bluff on what appears to be a scary board for your overpairs. His semi-bluff range is pretty wide imo. There are a lot of 9s in his range that just made pair + oesd or flush draw + oesd. Therefore when we bet we should be more willing to stack off.

As for c/c > b/c I am not sure. When I was drunk i was thinking that we could only get two streets of value from JJ on this board and we should pot control/take advantage of his floats. Now that im purely hungover I feel like it's possible to get looked up 3 streets when all the draws miss. Especially with your bluffy image.

A crai looks good if we are certain he bets the turn.

If I don't think he's capable of raising big draws on the turn, what then?
